Easy professor. Got weekly online homework and a few tests that weren't too hard. Only difficult part was the 10 page report/presentation at the end of the semester. Do your work, study the days before tests, don't procrastinate on the report, and you're guaranteed at least an A.

dont take her. I had a B the whole semester. I did all the work, extra credit, went to class everyday, etc. The final paper was a 10 page report worth 200 pts. She gave me a 0 out of 200 because I missed some margins, headers, etc. I got a D which made SDSU change my admission to denied. I don't agree I deserved a ZERO, I still did the damn thing.

Take another teacher, avoid her at all cost. She does not enjoy helping students and motivating them towards success. When a student asks her a question she makes the student look dumb. This teacher is the complete opposite of a good teacher.

Her class is hard compared to other teachers. There are teachers who enjoy helping students and motivating them towards success. This teacher is the complete opposite of a good teacher. If you ask something chances are you will feel stupid. She is a smart mouth. No guidelines and she says she will grade you toughly but she really doesn't. So easy A if you are committed to doing all the work. Her attitude makes you feel like you are on your tip toes with your grade but you really aren't. If she sees your effort she will give an A.

Avoid taking her at all costs. She is EXTREMELY picky even though she does not give out ANY guidelines. More of a "read the book and figure it out yourself" type of professor. Don't bother asking questions she will make you look incompetent. 3 tests, 1 group project, 1 solo presentation, 10 page report, & lots of reading assignments online.

Her class is like an online class. She does most lectures in PowerPoint. She changes her due dates often. Mid semester, there is a lot of writing and expects you to finish it even if you have to stay after class. For her, her class is the only class that maters. Don't take her class if you are planning on taking more than one class in a semester.

SHE IS AMAZING! I loved taking her class! She is very different from other professors, she really cares about the students and can even be considered a friend and ask for advise! I would totally take her class again! Other people that have bad comments about her probably are lazy and did't go to class or werent resposible enough!

Totally unprofessional, unprepared, lazy teacher. Strictly read from the textbook - no lesson plan. Didn't know the meaning, nor pronunciation, of many common English words. Little wonder this college is in danger of losing accreditation with teachers of this poor quality. Prefers those of her own race - grades papers w/o hardly looking at them.

Ms. Soler is the best teacher I have ever had in my life. She helps you alot and thanks to her I understand legal terms with her clear and real examples. Of course you have to do all the work which I believe is not that hard. She is cool and funny. Turn in work always on time. IN MY OPINION SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER AT swc!

Ms. Soler is knowledgeable but she has an aggressive personality. She is easily frustrated when her lectures are not understood and openly picks favorites. Discussions about her personal life during class further add to her inability to be an affective instructor. I would not recommend her if you are looking for a considerate instructor.

This is my third class with her and if I could I would like to take many other classes with her. I felt comfortable in the classroom because she IS bilingual and she's very clear on what she explains. I definately recomend her, You'll learn alot with her!
