Ms. Mcdonnell thinks she is a genius but she is really a dumb lady. She failed english her first year in college and is horrible at correcting papers especially for grammar. She takes attendace every day and does care if you miss a class. She is in her office for like two seconds and then leaves. she always talks about herself-dont take this!!!!!!

Pretty good lecturer once in class, but has a habit of being a few minutes late a lot of the time. Always somewhat disorganized. Also pretty much impossible to catch in her office during office hours - doesn't show up even if you make an appointment. I got slightly higher grades than I thought I deserved a couple of times.

She is the most unprofessional, sloppy, irresponsible teacher ever. While she is nice and easy, she cannot teach. She will cancel classes all of the time and will change the schedule around without emailing you. She talks about herself a lot. Don't buy books for her class, it's a waste of $. Take her for an easy if aggravating A.

First off, her class is the easiest Great Books at Auburn. There was a little bit of work but you really didn't have to do any of the reading except for your two presentations and even then you could get by with the sparknotes just as easily. If you can't take the class somewhere else than this is the teacher for you.

She is a very entertaining teacher, but totally unprepared for class. My class didn't even know our grade before the exam. She takes forever grading your work, and changes the syllabus constantly. We did class presentations that were just boring and we pretty much did her job while sat there. Nice woman, but confusing teacher!

She is an entertaining teacher, she is an open book about her life. Don't learn to much, but a lot of "busy" work outside of class is mandatory. In class, we didnt do much discussing of deeper meanings but she expects you to know it when writing papers and tests. Very slow on grading. But very nice and aproachable.

Very bad teacher, shes very smart and knows her stuff but should not be in the buisness of teaching. I know ****en, blind, apes that can grade quicker (you dont even know your grade going into the final b/c her ****en irish ass is too busy whining about her personal life to grade your papers. Never worked so hard for a "B" in my life.

You will read about 35 stories with her. We had 2 days to read The Iliad just to give you an example. You will not have any time for any of your other classes, but will be stuck reading for her all the time. Quizzes everyday, 10 pg. essay, 5 500 word essays are just a hint of what youll be doing.

She is so awesome! If people don't like her, it is because they are idiots and somehow made a bad grade in her class. She has "virtual class" on Fridays so you don't have to come! Make sure you do the reading, because there are small quizzes every day. She is really funny and makes class really fun!

She is a really good teacher. I took the class before with Mrs. Aina Schneller, and I got a D. I took the course with her and I got an A. To excel in her class, you just have to follow her instructions - do not add any unecessary stuff - and you will pass. Guaranteed!!
