Such a great professor! She makes the class super easy. You barely have to study for the exams - just show up and pay attention to her reviews for the first hour of class. She literally goes over exactly what will be on the test. She also gives a TON of extra credit opportunities, so if you slip up a few times, you have many chances.

Pref. Wilson is amazing. Shes very blunt but she means well & cares about her students. Shes also very funny! Read the chapters and study the medical terms/powerpoints and you should be fine. Come to class a couple min early so you can participate on extra credit that she gives out in the beginning of class. Dont forget to do your hw. Take her!

Great professional, Learned a lot from the lectures. The lecture it selfs it is easy but you have to do your own study at home, be prepared for test, you have every class. And it is more of memorizing terms and some chapters understand how the system works.

I have to say am really going to miss Professor Wilson. I learned so much during this course, and I definitely feel ready for H&P now. She was super clear on everything; she was great on relating to things that we were familiar with. If you study her powerpoints and the ch. in the book you will pass with flying colors. by far the best professor i've taken at valencia. she's able to make medical terminology stick. she's very opinionated, but i have so much respect for her and her wisdom. definitely recommend taking her before a&p. you won't regret it.

I had Professor Wilson for my medical terminology course in spring of 2019. This course is not easy by any means, Although this professor made this course even more enjoyable than I ever imagined. Studying by yourself is basically your success in this course, although she does AMAZING reviews before all tests. Beware there is a test every class.

She is amazing!!! Take her!!! She is hands down one of the greatest professors I have ever known. she makes learning easy, she is inspiring. She gives extra credit, she is encouraging and she is experienced. Her lectures are great and she goes by the review worksheet. She literally goes over what will be on the tests so its hard to fail.

I loved this class and this professor. She offers extra credit opportunities on a lot of exams if you come to class on time. She goes over the material on each exam before you take them, so you basically have to sleep through the first half of class to receive a poor grade. Great class to take before A&P

TAKE HER! She is AMAZING. There are weekly tests but she reviews them and tells you EXACTLY what will be on them right before the test. She is hilarious and has a service dog that you can pet. Gives LOTS of extra credit. You're guaranteed an A if you take her, she is amazing at what she does.

The class has weekly quizzes, but if you study the material beforehand you will pass. She will review before the quiz as well. I enjoyed the class, and I have never been so interested now in the healthcare. I passed the class with an 100%. All you have to do is put time to study and you will pass. Her lectures are very interesting as well.

Honestly one of my favorite classes and professors. She is so kind and passionate about the medical field it's inspiring. If you're thinking of taking medical terminology TAKE IT WITH HER!! you won't regret it, but you have to study! honestly 350 characters isn't enough for this amazing teacher. god bless her she's amazing and she genuinely cares.

Lynda and her service dogs are AMAZING. Her classes are schedule-friendly and you can choose which lectures to go to in the week. A lot of the tests are spoon-fed, but I learned more in her class than I ever had in any other. Hate lectures? Me too, but I would listen to hers anyday!

Professor Wilson is a very good professor and takes the time to make sure you learn the material. She brings in service dogs that you can pet while she teaches and wears a funny outfit associated with each topic. She's very understanding and is willing to work with you. I recommend her for medical terminology for everyone.

This class rules. Wilson is lecture and test heavy (one per week) but she reviews before each test. Her tests are pretty easy if you study, some of the answers are funny. There's lots of extra credit opportunities as well. Get ready for lots of flashcard making! She has a cool service dog and likes conspiracy theories! Would totally take her again.

Lynda is the best Professor I have ever had, she's so passionate about the medical field and I can tell she actually cares about her students. She gives so many useful life tips, she will have you feeling like a doctor!! However, she does have weird humor at times and you may find it rude if you don't understand her but she is very accomodating!

Amazing! Her lectures are very interesting! This class will helps you to understand a lot of vocabs ! Take this class before Anatomy & Physiology 1 & 2. I have an A in all exam. There are midterm and final exam. Study her PP and study the vocab !!!! How to get an A? Do the exercises in the book, workbook, and flashcards!

After 2nd class, you can expect: review/ ppt. lecture of chapter, test for that chapter, graded test day of class, then overview for next chapter/next class. The same routine every class makes it helpful to know what to expect. Do worksheet hw & listen to ppt lecture when she reviews & you can do well on tests. Be on time or she will call you out.
