GLG 101 and GLG 103 are two separate courses so there is double amount of work. So many test and quizzes. Class needs to be update hard to see images of rocks and map quality is bad.

Mike talks ALOT about his life. You will never know what you need to know for lab or lecture. With that being said though, his class is an easy A. Tons of extra credit and all assignments online. The chapter tests have a practice test thats identical and you can take as many times as needed. Need to buy the book too. i out minimal effort for 100%.

Professor Farabee made biology fun and was very approachable. No matter how many times you ask the same question he answers with patience and humor. There is plenty of opportunity for extra credit. This was one of those courses that if you put the effort in you will get a good grade.

Professor Farabe, PLEASE update your online module files on canvas! The organization of your quizzes, modules, and files on canvas are tedious, micro-managed, and many links are out-of- date. I felt like I should have taken a course just to understand Prof. Farabe's online format. He will answer emails, but seems a bit annoyed when you do ask.

I took his Summer Bio 101. Pretty easy class considering that we didn't have much time. There was a lot of work but that makes most of the grade. He is really great at working with you on a late project as long as you go to him ahead of time. All in all a great course I would definitely take one of his classes again if needed.

Took him for Lecture and Lab online. Really nice guy, very willing to help . GEO101 was easy but man... GEO103 was extremely difficult for me. Not sure if it was because i took it online but the tests were very hard. Other than that, he does offer extra credit and is and easy-going guy. You will need the book, which he wrote btw so no quizlet.

Mike thinks hes HILARIOUS, all he does in class is talk about his life. I never went to lectures or labs and i passed with a B. Final exams are online, open book, open note, open internet. 2 Tests everyweek online. Easy class to skip and not get in trouble for.

HYBRID BIO 100 + I attended the first 3 lectures & labs then completely stopped going till I had to take the final (since majority of assignments are turned in thru Canvas) Passed with a B - and that was me giving 77% of my effort the whole semester. There were even a good number of assignments I didn't turn in! No need for textbooks - use google!

Took him for GEO101 and the LAB geo103. Dr. Farabee knows his stuff, he edits the textbooks and wrote the Lab Manual. Yes, he tells stories and jokes, but he wants you to be successful. If you need help with the lab he will help you find the answer. Tests are online, 16 lab quizzes and 16 Chapter tests. Do the work, you should get an A

I really enjoyed his course because he taught me how to apply science to problem solving. People say his class is easy. Well it's easy if you're not talking about the tests. He does have open book but it's a hour and a half time for 100 questions so type fast because some of the questions you really have to research. Use computer not book!
