Comment:

Professor Martinez is a super nice teacher and you can tell she really cares about what she is teaching and her students. Never knew what we were going to do next class, even if something was planned. Show up to class because she gives out a lot of extra credit. Not a lot of homework but do need book and online code. Super easy class overall.

Comment:

Lots of work to take a language class on-line, yet Dr. Martinez gives you all you need in text, language lab, audio review, and test preparation. Always ready and willing to work through a problem with you. Always available by gMail, in office, or by phone. Would highly recommend this professor to anyone wanting to work, learn, and make good grade

Comment:

She is definitely one of my favorite professors. She is so fun and energetic and brings so much joy to the classroom. I always dreaded my foreign language course, but she made it so fun. The class is super easy as long as you attend and study a little bit each day. She is also super funny and very supportive of her students.

Comment:

She was always in a great mood and very funny. Very willing to help her students and using fun learning techniques. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests and quizzes so there are no surprises. There are a lot of quizzes but they are short and if you study for 10 minutes you'll do fine. Pretty easy A if you study the test study guides.

Comment:

5 week summer class. Lots of material in a short time but she did a great job covering it all. Pay attention, take notes in class, and study vocabulary, and you'll do fine. She's funny, class is fun, and she gives lots of opportunities for extra credit on tests. Only negative is she is very busy and tends to be disorganized.

She taught my class everything we needed to know for Spanish 2 and did a good job of incorporating Spanish 1 stuff because she knows a lot of students hadn't taken it in so long. She's easy to contact if you have questions or don't understand something. She drops a lot of grades at the end of the semester if you fail a quiz or miss an assignment.

I had her for several classes. She is VERY unorganized. You don't learn anything in her class. She is funny, and if you show up it's an easy A. So if you have no interest in learning, but just need to pass the class then take her class. It'll be easy and she's nice.

Her class in easy as far as the homework assignments. She only counts vista work as participation. Test are hard but she let you retake them if need be. She does seem very unorganized however. Overall, if you look pass the lack of organization of the class, and pay attention you will learn a good amount of spanish from her.

Overall, her class is pretty easy. Her tests however, are really tough as she is a tough grader. With all the extra work you can easily make an A in this class. You must go to class and participate. She is funny but also unorthodox. I would take her again as I learned a bunch of Spanish from her.

I have taken many online classes. This is by far THE WORST.She doesn't answer emails/questions, took down our discussion board so we cannot even communicate, and NEVER gets involved.This class is basically like someone handing you a spanish dictionary and saying "Okay, you learn Spanish now and take the test in the LAC in a few weeks. see ya." RUN!

I took her for Spanish II online. She is extremely unorganized! I sent several emails to her regarding my grades because she would never post my grades. She rarely ever emailed me back. And when she did, the messages never answered my questions completely, if at all!

This lady stays very busy, and I felt that her web classes got put on the back burner. VERY disorganized. But, on the flip side, she's extremely funny, great personality. Doesn't respond quickly to emails, but if you can catch her in her office, she is extremely willing to help in whatever way she can. I'd recommend her, but not for a web class.
