There is no lecture in this class. If you read the books and come class prepared to have a discussion, you are going to succeed. Dr. Lundquist is always willing to meet in her office and have further one on one discussion about one of your papers our whatever you want to talk about it.

Comment:

She is a great lady and person. The books we read in class are very interesting (mostly clinical psychology). My problem is the teaching, strictly group work EVERY SINGLE CLASS if your group isn't good you won't have fun. I'd say going to class isn't even necessary because you don't even learn anything you just talk about the book, like a book club

Comment:

Dr. Lundquist is a great professor and loves to teach. She is passionate about psych and is willing to help in anyway possible. Participation is mandatory in class to get a good grade. Exams are open notes, just take good notes and you'll do great. Easy class if you read the books and take notes! Grading is a little weird but interesting class!

Definitely one of the worst professors I've had in my college career. I didn't get grades back from her for assignments we did in September until the end of November. Very rude when you ask her questions and she just gave me that feeling that she thought she was above teaching us. Would not recommend.

She was very nice, but her lectures are extremely boring! I almost fell asleep every single day in class. Once you hand something in, don't expect to get it back anytime soon. Also, the tests were very difficult! They are all very intricate essay questions.

Dr. Lundquist is a nice person. Participation matters a lot to her so make sure to pay attention. Only had a few tests and assignments. Sometimes she gets confusing but just ask for clarification and she'll give it to you. You should have no problem doing well in her class if you put in effort.

I'm taking psych stats, and I had to get multiple tutors because Lundquist doesn't know how to teach. Everything that comes out of her mouth, I don't understand. I'm just now finally passing the class with a D (My worst grade of my life)

We worked in groups a lot to discuss what we read the previous night for homework and add on to the principles discussed in the reading. She is really laid back and fair with her grading. As long as you do the work well, participate, and read the assignments you will do really well.

Fair teacher, would leave class often though and assign group work. This was more of a discussion based class so it was more laid back and open. This professor can teach you a lot and is a fair grader. Also very helpful if you see her outside of class. Would recommend her

Willing to help and a very nice person. She is interesting and connects the lessons to real-life examples. She is always in a great mood. The tests are somewhat difficult but you should be fine if you pay attention and read the book. I recommend taking her class, she is a good professor and very interesting

Absolutely terrible teacher! She is a lovely person but it is really a waste of money for her to teach you. She doesn't organize herself at all she just writes random words on the board and doesn't even talk about half of them. The home works are difficult but doable and tests are easy if you can manage to take notes. But she is very caring

This class was awful. She didn't know the material from the text, used the powerpoint lectures that came with the textbook (but had no idea what information was in them), and we just watched tons of films. No feedback on essays, and she often forgot to use the grading rubric (so the result is a blank essay with a grade, like a said, no feedback).

cares about students. timed essay tests challenging. Zaps hw fun. extra credit unclear (do all quizzes even if the syllabus says otherwise). Online quizzes easy pts. Lecuture notes at the speed of light but are posted on webct. disorganized class. you need to keep her ontop of the syllabus. But I enjoyed the class and would take another with her.
