Comment:
I got a 64% on my 1st exam which was a bit scary, but he added 72 points extra credit to the course through exams & projects, so I ended up with a 102% overall after the final. He explains difficult concepts clearly, & is obviously passionate about teaching. I don't understand why the whole class complained about him throughout the whole semester.

This class is pretty much the exams with 50 percent on the final. Theory heavy class but he explains them well in class and reading slides on your own won't work. Grading is lenient though and he is very enthusiastic about the material. Put in all the effort and this class will be fine.

Comment:
One of the most disorganized classes I have taken. Reads off of lecture slides for the whole class straight and is very disengaging (tons of material on slides). Labs were barely relevant. Exams were odd, you mostly just have to analyze and improvise answers, prepare by reading lectures and doing quizzes/hw. Exams are leniently graded.

Lectures and materials presented in class were fine. Midterm came straight out of the review. Final was a complete curve ball though and had nothing to do with the material taught in class...

This guy just throws you questions about stuff he never teaches in class, or present in his slides. Worst class I have ever taken.

Knowledgeable. Sometimes teaches very well. Sometimes its too much to absorb. A lil boring at times.

For this course, he covered WAY too many topics. book sucked. His homework tends to be tough as well as exams. However, everything is curved so it all evens out at the end. didn't seem to enthusiastic helping in off-hours. Diverts students to TAs

Comment:
Completely incompetent -- can't explain anything, is condescending and arrogant, doesn't return graded work, gives assignments and exams that have nothing to do with the course, completely fails to teach anything. Should NOT be in a classroom.
