The professor will "try" to encourage everyone in the class to become friends because you will have to form a group with your classmates, which you'll be stuck with, to review for the quiz/exam before the day it happens and will make you take them on paper. She also brings up irrelevant topics in class and won't accept anything late! Good luck!

Boring lectures, but they were pretty straight to the point. A lot of extra credit, so make sure you get as much possible from the start. She gives review quizzes that are exactly like the actual quizzes and exams just different numbers. Strict on how you do some work. Point based grading system. Optional final depending if you need the points.

Professor K's lectures were short and informative. Always do the MathLab homework assignments! They cover questions in the quizzes that weren't mentioned in her lectures. A lot of extra credit opportunities and group work. She basically gives a useful study guide before every quiz so always study those and go over the homework before quizzes/exams!

Took for for calc 1-3. She was ok, she'll give you the basics for each chapter, but it is your responsibility to know and learn them. Do the homework, and make sure that you understand the process, organize the chapter homework neatly, they'll come in handy when it comes to quizzes/exams!

Lectures don't cover everything in the homework. And you can't ask about homework in class. I have never in my life studied for a test and gotten an F. I did in this class. It just about broke me. But there are lots of opportunities to get extra credit. The exams are LITERALLY the quizzes, only slightly different numbers. MEMORIZE THEM.

Loved her teaching style. Lectures were short and helpful. Reasonable amount of hw. 10 points extra credit for every quiz. Before every quiz there is a review day where she gives the exact type of problems that will be on the actual quiz. And the tests are basically the quizzes put together. Plus the final was not cumulative.

She will give you impossible questions on homework that is not even relatable to Calculus I. Some of the homework problems are so difficult that some problems tied into Calculus II. Her quizzes are extremely hard as well. Her tests are even worse. If you care about passing this class, DO NOT TAKE HER!!

GROUP WORK!! Your group members are for the whole semester so choose wisely Please, only take this class if Math is something you enjoy. My counselor made me take this class and it was a mistake. She wasn't bad, just so much HW online and so fast paced! Text book is a must have to access online HW. Lots of Quizs and 4 exams. GO Math lab if need!

Group day problems serves as a template of the quizes. Exams are the quizzes stapled together. Practice your homework. Bring a watch to time yourself. Use a TI-84 as no higher calc is allowed on quiz/exam. Loves putting in uncommon derivatives/integrals. Very merciful and generous with extra credit. No question too stupid. Don't be scared to ask!

Do homework, its a big part of the grade. If you are struggling, this means you need to find a tutor or go to office hours. Quiz's are the best study guide for Exams. There is alot of opportunities to raise your grade. Always study in small chunks over time. You need to be able to critically think and expand concepts in order to pass the class.^_^

Hard class if you have trouble with math. She has unclear expectations, and is condescending when answering questions. You will struggle to learn the in-class problems and the exercises on Pearson, however; when the quizzes and exams come around, the material is completely different and more difficult. If you want an "A", then skip her.

Nice professor. Show up. She literally gives you what's going to be on the quizzes by working on problems together in class with class mates which are then the template of what's on the exam. Don't miss quizzes. Don't miss exams. Gives lots of extra credit. I had to drop because I couldn't catch up with the homework. Would take again.

She is a tough teacher! She goes over some things, but does not go into the specific details on how to solve a problem. She will give you a problem on the quiz/exam that isn't on the homework or the review. I understand it in class, and in the homework (sometimes) until I get on the quiz! prepare to spend time in the mathlab!

Extremely hard quizzes and tests that are far more difficult than any of the homework problems or any of the problems covered in class on group-work days. The only consolation is the test problems are almost identical to the quiz problems, just with different values mixed in, but quizzes already cost you. Do not take if you care about your GPA.

She's honestly pretty terrible. Don't be surprised if she doesn't show up for class without giving notice and still expects you to know the chapters she missed teaching that day. Not the greatest at explaining math when she does attend class.

BE PREPARED TO SPEND YOUR TIME IN THE MATH LAB! This prof is unapproachable for help and seems she's only there for the $$$ & to pass time. She wasn't interested in her students & didn't look like she wanted to teach. She doesn't even let u know your grade. Very poor prof in my opinion. SHE ALSO COMES LATE ON TEST DAYS. TESTS R TIMED..U GET THE PIC

DO NOT TAKE. She is very unclear and her lectures are basically her reading things from the textbook. She missed a lot of classes. So many times my class was just waiting for her to show up. Sometimes I feel like she didn't even understand what I was saying. She required WileyPlus and it always glitched out on me. She does not use Laulima at all.
