Absolutely loved this class thanks to Manuel!He truly cares about his students and really breaks things down to explain them. Has lots of office hours outside of classroom time an dis very approachable and willing to help.

Dr. Aquino is an amazing prof. Chem 100 is a relatively tough course, but he made the material seem so much easier than the way I had learned it before. He is very fair in his marking and won't try to trick you on tests or exams so I love that. Overall, awesome guy and good prof. Take his class if you can.

Dr. Aquino gives clear, concise lectures with a meaningful amount of homework. I never feel swamped with chemistry homework but I feel like I'm doing enough to retain what I am doing in class. He presents concepts in a well organized and easy to understand way. He is also often available in his office outside of his set office hours.

He's a great guy but a rough prof. Expects you to know most of the criteria already. He talks fast, and has messy writing so notes get copied wrong. Class is hard. Only take if necessary.

Fell in love with his teaching style, the course itself and AQUINO. I would take every single chemistry class with this man. Thanks to him I am now majoring in chemistry. All chem 100 profs are decent, but Aquino is hands down the best.

I loved taking this course with Dr. Aquino. He was extremely knowledgeable and the way he taught the class was very effective. Very nice and wrote fair exams He would often give hints and tips on what to expect on midterms or finals so if you work hard and show up to class you will throughly enjoy his class. Really kind, helpful and approachable

Best Chemistry Professor at StFX, I took his chem 100 course and it was awesome! He's so clear and he really cares for his students. I came to StFX not sure if i was going to pass chemistry. I finished his course with a 70%. All the other chem profs are good too but he sticks out, he's great!

One of my favorite profs! Aquino always made an effort to schedule more office hours and provided extra tutorials when necessary! Classes were very enjoyable and lectures followed the textbook very well. Also a great prof because he doesnt use mastering chemistry!!

Really good prof, one of my faves. Very approachable, with a good sense of humor. Explains concepts very clearly. So glad I took his class, people in other chem classes did not get taught as well as us. HIGHLY recommended!

Nice guy, really cares about his students. Makes jokes all the time in class. Found lectures confusing, but he will help you will your assignments and exam prep. Really wants you to succeed. Exams are very straightforward - similar to previous years. Great guy, you'd enjoy this course if not for the chemistry then for him!
