If you are here to learn how to write good essays then you should take him. But if you are very bad at writing essays and just want a good grade then don't take him. I really loved the topics he discusses during the class and is very helpful. He is very understanding. Go to his office hours if you are struggling since he will help you a lot.

He made my first semester in college extremely easy and fun. He can be a tough grader at times but he gives really good feedback and plenty of opportunities to get a high grade. He's very lenient and actually listens to what we (students) want/need. I would definitely encourage you to take his class(es). YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

Prof. Perea was awesome!. Yes you have to work for grade but he is very understanding if he see's you putting in the effort. Also seeing him during office hours was very helpful. I found all his assignments fun and interesting.

Prof. Perea chooses the content that runs his course. Be prepared to listen, discuss and write about the same topic every. day. It was painful coming to class. I felt like I was eating the same food every single day. That along with his harsh and very unforgiving grading practices left me turned off. Although I earned an A, I do not recommend.

My final grade was based on the last paper. I received B's on most of the papers but he gave me a D on the last paper and I received a C in the class overall. I needed to take this class in order to take English 1A. The course material is engaging and keeps you interested, however, if you are interested in old-school grading pedagogies, take him.

I respect this teacher. I took his winter semester class and he made me look at the world a different way. He is always smiling in class. That cheered me up on days i was feeling down. Great teacher! Tough grader. Made regret every run on sentence hahaha

Worst professor I ever had!!!! He gives me poor grades and is guaranteed not to get a C in this class! He often says "not clear" on some parts of the essay that I wrote. He is a tough grader and is very strict about what I need to have to get a good grade. Despite my parents, tutor, and my brother's help, I still got lower grades.

Prof. Perea must be one of the best professors at PCC. He has a very systematic curriculum inducive to bolster students' writing skills. Reading materials were really really intriguing! Only some of them were kind of hard, but doable. In addition, there was no a lot of assignments. The only important thing is that you should not skip any class.

Firstly, he grades attendance and participation. Make sure that you're on time, go to class and participate in the lectures. The class is not hard as long as you try your best. I got a solid C because I missed assignments and because I didn't try when writing the papers. Overall he is a great professor and I encourage everyone to take his class.

Professor Perea is one of the toughest professors regardless of subject at PCC. It is even not guaranted to get C from his class. If your paper did not satisfy his requirement, you would even get F. I'm not kidding at all, seriously!!!!!! Wanna experience tough class? Then, don't hesitate. Just go for it!

Prof. Perea is an undoubtly great professor. I was able to learn many things from him. However, his class was so hard that I should have to take a lot of time and effort to pass his class. In short, this is an exceptionally difficult class, but you would be able to learn a lot of things from him.

Mr. Perea is an excellent teacher! I myself struggled in his class, but I did my best and asked a lot of questions whenever I'm confused about something. In the end, I felt very accomplished as I was able to learn a lot of things from him. As long as you do your best and all the assignments, everything else will come smoothly.
