Comment:

Very repetitive during explanations at start of class. Grading is very fair considering she could take a full point off for errors, however, will take only .2 or .3 off. I think she knows microbiology is not easy and tries to help out the overall grade with the lab grade. Final review was very thorough. Basically tells you everything you need.

Comment:

Very good teacher. I take the night class and she starts off w/a lecture even tho it's a lab class. Will answer all questions..Overall i got 90's on all my test...will stay after and explain material if needed. Gives notes on paper that is laminated for you which is great. Very nice teacher..I feel that she just needs to make more hands on time.

She is a great teacher, very helpful. First test is incredibly hard but she will answer all of your questions. She allowed us to video record parts of her lab, extremely helpful.

Yes she is nice however, this is not a personality course. She is all over the place with her notes. She disagree's with the text book and will take off points if you put text book answer. She is by far the worst instructor I've ever had.She also disagree's with other LCCC intructors notes. DON'T TAKE HER CLASS!

Comment:

Very nice and polite. Not clear during explanation of labs or what is expected of you. She looks for every opportunity to take .2 or .3 points off on reports which is devastating when labs are only worth 10 points! She is very passionate about Micro and will help you in any way possible and stay after class with you if necessary.

I thought her explanations were very clear and she went the extra mile to make sure everyone understood. Tests were fair. Not that hard. She always warns you of what will be on the test while she is going over it in class. Most of what she talks about in class is in the lab manual. Read the lab manual and study it for the test and you'll do fine.

I agree w/other comments completely, she is very polite and kind and means well, but... is difficult to follow when speaking to the class. Very helpfull in lab, takes as much time as possible to try and help you understand the lesson but doesnt quite have the ability to explain the material to someone not already familiar w/bio as a whole.

I had her for microbiology last summer and for a&p2 lab and I'd take her again if i had the chance. She is a very thoughtful and caring person.My dad was sick throughout the whole semester and she asked me every week how he was doing.She knows what she is talking about but is not a good lecturer but will explain something as many times as you need

Such a sweetheart!But,when she starts teaching a new topic she gets really into it & is very difficult to follow. However, ANYTIME u have trouble with ANYTHING she is ALWAYS willing to help &is SO nice about it. She will explain something 50x if she has to. The class was tough, but A&P is tough naturally. Very kind&never hesitates2help her students

Difficult to follow at times but very knowledgable. Needs to a better job at providing extra lab study time outside normal lab when student needs/wants the extra work. $12 for the lab manual is a crime. It needs revising!
