Comment:

Exams are based off of 3 assignments each to be used as study guides, none of which you will receive back in time to study for the exams. Notes are incredibly all over the place and there are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors. Graders either leave unhelpful or sometimes even rude comments and they are incredibly inconsistent.

Comment:

I feel like I got nothing out of the course. Her homeworks are worksheets and what she writes has quite a few spelling and grammar mistakes. Her graders are often late with assignments, inconsistent with grading, and their comments often aren't helpful. Her exams are unpredictable in difficulty. It's very easy to get a B or A, but it's frustrating.

Her grading is a little confusing but it gives you the opportunity to miss class or a homework or two. Her lectures are confusing and don't even try to follow her website notes. They are full of errors. The tests are ridiculous. They are supposed to be based off homework which you don't get back so you have no idea what was right or wrong.

SO. MANY. TYPOS. In everything. Notes, syllabus, exams. I'm afraid her mind is starting to go. She's alright but assigns stuff with no clear rubric of what she wants. She assigned a long paper with the only guideline being "make it relevant to the class". She's nice, but spaces out. Shouldn't take attendance.

Dr. Feaver is a tough teacher, no doubt. She's not good at lecturing and her tests are rough. She says there's a lot of homework but there never is, and she often gives extra credit for attendance. She is willing to work with you if you miss a test. She curves hard due to her "point system." I didn't pass a test but made a good grade over all.

Her class was definitely different. All of her assignments were straight from websites and she did not look at them. I did fairly well on the test because the questions come straight from the homework! Beware: when you sign up and look at the class it may not say anything about the testing center, but you will have to take two exams there.

I really wanted to enjoy this class, but every lecture was agonizingly boring for 75 minutes. She was hard to follow, she grades harshly, and you don't know what you did wrong on exams because you can't read her marks. This class could have easily been taught online. I wanted to love it, but I absolutely did not.

Took this class as a summer student and it was definitely my "don't pay attention" class. Dr. Feaver isn't great at explaining concepts that are covered on tests and her notes are like web pages online that can be difficult to follow. Scooted by with a B+ but only because I studied like a maniac (i.e. Google) before the tests.

Don't ever take a class with her. Her study guides and notes do not help at all as preparations for her tests. Her tests has uncovered materials. Worst teacher I've ever had. Her notes are all over the place, with many grammar and spelling mistakes. Please avoid this teacher. Boring. All she'd do in class was pull up her website of notes and read off of it and show us a few boring videos. Her tests were also very difficult, with many errors.

TERRIBLE.I'm a Junior in Bio and she's awful. She randomly takes "attendance" points by signing a sheet of paper so you have to go to class yet she does NOT care if you play on your laptop and eat a sandwich. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I am a freshman biology major here at state and was so excited about my major until her class. Her notes are very unorganized and usually grammatically incorrect. She rambles about useless nonsense during class. Half of her tests come from activities you do/are supposed to do in class and for homework. Shes absolutely dreadful.

She's very unorganized in her teaching style. The notes are not very helpful. Activities and assignments do not help. Yet she's a nice lady and she'll help you if you need it.
