This instructor is just a body. To be honest, I didn't really learn anything. I was more effective and had more fun learning everything on my own. In my experience, he was rude at times, which is why I don't recommend him to anybody. Your results will vary.

Know your Kumite and etc... Its a fun class overall. You learn alot. From self defense to japanese terminology, you will learn and you will SWEAT. Bring deoderants, and always take shower after class. There will be both a written and pratical final. Both are easy if you practice a little.
