Comment:

Mark is a great teacher. He is kind and easy to approach. It's not too hard to get decent grade in his class as long as you go to class and actually listen to him. At the end of this semester, me and my friend both got 14/15 on the last essay. Not only can he teaches English writing skills, but also wide knowledge in other fields.

He might scare you first, don't be! He will reveal all his secrets soon. Just follow his lead. There are quite limited things that he expect to see in your essays/summaries: EASY. talk to him, he will always be available to answer your questions, and he is super kind, as long as you behave.

Mark Lee is a teacher who knows perfectly his subject, maybe too much because sometimes he lost us by being too specific. His bad point for me is the clarity of his classes, the good points is that he is caring, he's relax, he gives you really good feedbacks that help you improve and get a good grade. Just study, you'll get through it :)

Don't waste your time and search for ESL with another professor. Mr. Lee is an inefficient teacher. His lessons are based on 2hours monotonous reading from the screen and not clear explanations. Unproductive waste of time. The worst, however, are key words - additional information you have to study to understand the teacher.

This professor was the best one I've ever had. He is so expert in his field and so clear in the course material. If a student listens to his advice and obey the rules of writing that he keeps explaining , he or she will definitely be able to pass the course with a B or higher. Also, he tells lots of funny memories and jokes in his lectures.

If you want to become a professional with strong English writing skills, you'd better take ESL 204 with Mark Lee. He makes you work hard. Although at the beginning his classes could be confusing, you will understand and master his methods little by little. Taking his course was an excellent decision.

Really complexe and tough grader. Impossible to understand his correction with his "color code" classes are long and boring. Attendance is mendatory. Do not take Mark Lee as a professor.

If you are woman you should take this course with him. He is always there for girls. He is not objective at grading, I found out that many classmates (males) wrote down better essays than many girls, even though, girls always got better scores. Besides, he is a though grader, Id say, it is better taking this class with another prof.

This teacher makes you to start thinking. If you are not able to make yourself to use your head up to the maximum,this course is going to be a tough one. Mark is not very clear sometimes, but when you get it, you understand that it is a very good level of English that he teaches. I would love to see him as not my teacher-very interesting to talk to

Nice guy, but he is so confusing! He as a color code that only him can understand. Gave grammar tests randomly without telling us how to prepare for them. Plus, there was no way to keep track of our work. Usually, after a paper or a midterm, we have an idea of our grade, but this doesn't happen with him. I'm sorry for him because he is a nice guy.

Comment:

A very nice teacher, he surely knows his stuff. He will give you a lot of writing homework, however he does let you rewrite it after he corrects it. From time to time topics that were discussed in a class were very interesting: he used texts from different magazine articles. He is also very friendly and is always glad to help students.
