I wish I could clone Dr. Wilburn for every class I ever had in college. He's even keel, not arrogant, consistent grader, a fantastic teacher and a nice person. Don't miss a single class! Get more than one person's contact info so you can get notes if you have to miss. Do not be late to exams, period. Essay tests; study your rear off.

Dr. Wilburn is an excellent teacher & knows just about anything. I took him for both history 108&9, great stories, wealth of info. He grades you only on attendance and 3 tests that you take. You have to show up but if you miss make sure someone took notes for you. He gives you the study guide before SO USE IT! Study before tests & you'll get an A

This class can be difficult but he makes it easy with his lectures. They are interesting and he tells them like a story. He tells you exactly what is going to be on the test before it gives it to you. If you show up and listen you will be fine. He cares more about you learning something than you memorizing every person and date. Highly recommend!

One of the best professors I have ever had! His lectures are told like a story and he lets you know which terms you need to know before the lecture. Tests are not hard as long as you take good notes and study. Lots of writing in his class but I would take it again in a heartbeat!

He is a great professor who gives interesting lectures. He is entertaining and funny. Tests are over his lectures, so you want to take good notes or use a tape recorder. He is such a wonderful professor that I wish I needed to take more history classes for my major. I highly recommend him.

I love this class so much, even though I hate history and couldn't care less about the battle of actium or Hammurabi's code. But this professor clearly loves the subject and his enthusiasm is almost contagious. I record the lectures as he sometimes talks faster than I can write and I don't want to miss anything. He's very laid-back and very funny

Mr Wilburn is such a smart and amazing man. does not require the text book! 3 exams, no quizzes and no cumulative final! attend the class listen to him or record him, review and attend the review days before each exam you will end up with an A... I recommend him to all my friends

I adore this teacher. He comes into class and gets right to the point. He just lectures and doesn't require the textbook which is over $100. You just listen, take notes, and study for each of the 3 exams, which aren't difficult if you study. He's very clear about things. Also, he's got a sense of humor and will never keep you late which is awesome.
