Dr. Young is incredibly intelligent, but his sarcastic sense of humor can come off a bit sharp sometimes. This course is a fantastic introduction to the program and he does a great job balancing lecture with activities.

Dr. Young is extremely sarcastic, in turn HILARIOUS. However, some people don't appreciate his crude humor and believe he is careless. I enjoyed this class. It was interesting and he makes it better by making jokes. He was a bit unorganized since he hadn't taught this course in several years, but overall a good professor.

Dr. Young is a genius, complete with eccentricities and brilliance. I couldn't have learned nearly as much from anyone else as I did from him. His communication style is idiosyncratic, but if you "get" him, you'll love him. He really wants you to succeed and will help any way he can. It's not easy, but he will make you better.

I had him for Techniques. Dr. Young was very helpful and the best instructor I had. The textbook was most helpful and it was one of the ones I read the whole thing from cover to cover. You will be luck to have him as a professor, you will learn so much and he is very supportive!!
