Dr. Cha is original in his teaching style. He is very scarce on the notes he provides and expects students to pay attention in class at all times. One Midterm, one final, a case study, and a paper make up your grade.

There's a lot of bad reviews but overall it wasn't a bad class. His accent and study guides are confusing but if you ask he'll try and clarify. As long as you study and show up to class you'll pass. 1 midterm, a final, attendence, and a debate are the only things that make up your grade. I skipped class a lot and still managed to get a B.

Very smart guy he is really fair you need to go to class I order to pass as attendance is taken at every class and is 15 percent of you grade. Do not leave class early because he will call you out I front of the other students. 1 mid terms and 1 final exam multiple choice question its easy to pass him but a struggle to get a good grade.

It's very hard to understand him during lecture. He provides you with study guides for your midterm and final, but I felt like the questions on the study guides didn't help me prepare well for either test. Most of the stuff was also stuff her never went over in class. Don't take him. Sorry, not sorry.

A great person, and very smart. You must be willing to work and study on your own time, read the book and take good notes. Review everyday before class and on the weekends. This is a upper division class and you must be willing to earn your grade. Speak up in class and offer some input every session, don't forget to go to class.

He is a horrible instructor and impossible to understand (accent). Attendance is a must! There is only one midterm of 80 question and one final of 80 questions. Although there is a curve don't expect a good grade.

He is a nice guy, that much I can say positive about him. However, his lectures are difficult to decifer because of his accent. I gave up taking notes because I couldn't understand what he was saying. You should definitely go to class as there are participation points. Be prepared for only two tests however, and for odd wording of questions.

Be warned that if you have this class he will ask you questions at random. If you don't answer a question correct, he will be picking on you for the rest of the semester. If you know the answer then he will be picking on you as well. He likes to pick random people so be aware especially if you sit in the front. Overall okay, got an A in his class

This guy is HORRIBLE. The WORST teacher I have EVER had. You can not read his notes, his lectures are boring, no power points, only 2 tests, no review for test. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Really tough class. Although there were only two multiple choice tests, his lectures were downright boring. Also, a lot of questions on the test weren't covered in lectures. Great guy, but really hard.

Avoid at all costs. Can't understand his lectures or his notes. At first I felt sorry for him, until me and my friends in the class got A's on the midterms and thought we did well on final to find out we got B's in the class. He grades weird. Class is only based on Midterm and Final. AVIOD!

he knows his stuff and is the cutest thing ever, but to be honest i probably went to 5 of his lectures MAX. its really hard to get into what he's saying because of his accent and the way he presents it. good thing about this class is that there are only 2 tests and NO PAPER!

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! His thick accent makes it very difficult to understand what he's saying. He'll assign readings for next week's discussions. He provides no study guides for exams. (He claims that would be babying us.) The readings he assigns and information in the book are not always in the exams. He gives a lot of hypotheticals.

Avoid taking this teacher, he has a heavy accent and his points go way off topic. Can't read his handwriting at all and there is no point in studying for the test because the tests have weird questions on them. Painful to listen to.

Dr. Cha is an old school professor. He's very smart and knows his subject but he's not a great teacher. Learning from him was painful. I like a challenge and I managed to squeak an A out of his class but it was not at all enjoyable and I was frequently frustrated with his teaching style and the way he belittled people in particular.

This class is very very very boring. Every lecture, he writes what he plans to talk about in class, but you can't read his handwriting. Then, when he talks, it's not clear and he says A LOT of "umm" and "uhh" so it's hard to follow along. And your whole grade is based on one exam and a final. Avoid him if possible.
