Comment:

Professor Mary is an amazing professor. You are not going to like her if you are a lazy person. Be prepared for a lot of homework, classroom participation, pop-quizzes, online quizzes, two tests and one cumulative final exam. You might not get the best grade, but you will learn A LOT about accounting. Definitely recommend her.

Currently taking her right now, first week already a quiz. DON'T TAKE HER AT ALL. unless you really have to. And, be ready for pop quiz, and many more stupid stuff. Also, She doesn't write notes, so be prepared to listen. Honestly, she is bad at teaching but good at criticizing other people. All I'm gonna say is DON'T TAKE HER CLASS.

Shes not a good professor by any means, she lectures way too quick and expects you to know everything in a split second, she assigns way too much homework and doesnt spend enough time on the material. She gives no practice and has a tendency to belittle students. I learned nothing in her class. I may quit accounting because of her

Hardest tests Ever. Shes extremely mean to her students too. She belittles you like no other and likes to make you feel stupid. I failed her tests because she asks the hardest questions. And some of the test questions are on things weve never covered in class. Horrible professor and horrible personality. I may quit accounting because of her.

This was one of those teach it yourself classes which is terrible because the textbook was so difficult. I wish I learned more in this class but we spent too much time on nonsense half of every class. CSI needs to get better professors for the 400 level classes.

Great professor. I wouldn't say shes a tough grader because she wants what she wants. All of her lectures are thorough and will go over anything you need her to until you understand it. In order for you to pass her classes with an A, you must study at least 2 hours a day. Lots of chances to boost your grade also.

professor Recor is the best professor i have taken yet she explains everything and if you dont understand something she will explain until you do. i will definitely be taking classes w her in the future it suck she doesnt teach acc124. she also gives a lot of homework that really helps understand the material and goes over it too.

I have taken Professor Recor 4 times. Although I don't get the best grades in her class, the knowledge and understanding I come out with is immeasurable. You need to work, you need to participate, you need to study - but what you will get out of it is much more than your average class. She also cares very deeply about her students and their future.

Don't know why people don't like this professor, one of the most helpful in the school and is extremely fair. She is a great lecturer and explains everything perfect honestly . Do the Hw you'll pass the tests with 90s, don't miss class because you might miss a random ass quiz she gives an get a 0. Show up pay attention and do the hw an easy A

Terrible teacher.. I took her class to fit my schedule albeit seeing the reviews. I thought that I would be fine seeing that they were for her harder classes. But I'm taking her intro accounting class and she sucks. She has index cards of the students and calls them to answer questions, in a cycle. She teaches mostly orally and talks too fast

Professor Recor hasn't gotten the review she deserves. Plain and simple, if you show up to class, pay attention, do your homework, and study hard you'll get an A. She's very helpful and friendly. Gives ALOT of homework, final is cumulative, and gives quiz's almost every class. I would take her again, in fact I am for ACC 225.

One of the best professors at CSI. If you are a slacker, do not take her. However, if you are sincere in learning accounting, she's the one. Planning to take CPA? Take her - she is strict, explains everything, makes you study - you learn. Read chapter before class, do your homework. Compared to other teachers she does lots of problems in class.

If you're willing to work and would like to pass the CPA test, this woman is for you. If you're looking for an unchallenging class, then don't take her. The final is cumulative on 8 chapter and she will not let you know what chapter is on it. Extremely stressful class but if you have to then you have to.

Very helpful and nice. If you're not an accounting major and are having difficulty she will take that into consideration when giving you your final grade. I failed every test and shouldn't have passed but managed to get a D thank God!!!

She is very hard. You should't take her if you value your GPA, casue she will ruin it. There is no way anyone can get a good grade in her class. But she is very good at explaining the concepts and you will learn a lot in her class. I learned a lot in her class. you should only take her if accounting is your life.
