Davis was my first English teacher in college, and I learned more about writing essays in his class than in all four years of high school combined. Clear and helpful and nice guy. Sense of style leaves something to be desired, but that has nothing to do with his teaching. Highly recommend him for ENWR300!

Great teacher.Nice and helpful.Have deadlines for homework,but if you went eg.out of town,he ll let you return it later.There is a project called "Small town exploration"that is very easy.About 5 essays, and reading about California,and than easy tests.He greades fair.I liked him a lot.Tries to be funny,and sometimes ends up to be goofy.I like him!

I love this teacher. He has a very easy feeling about his class and you don't feel overly stressed out. He likes his job and that comes across in his teaching. If you get the opportunity to take his class do it, I believe you won't regret it.

He's a great teacher. He doesn't raise his voice or get angry at all!!! He even said it was OK if we were a little behind in our essays BUT to make sure it was done by the end of the semester. I think there were 4 or 5 essays. NOT BAD!!!
