Took her class online. Black board was color coded a bit over whelming at first but was easy to follow throughout the course. Be prepared to study every day, you pretty much learn a new lesson every day or every other day. And take quizzes 2/3x a wk. Exams are just like the study guide. Course is fast & difficult. Emails promptly w/detail answers

The class isn't cake but also not that hard. As long as you actually do her notes and the homework you will be fine. The practice tests are actually harder than the tests themselves. If you have a question, e-mail her and she responds within a reasonable time. She seems like a nice lady.

I am completely struggling with this class. No way that I am going to pass. It is 100% self taught, which I can't do with math. I have literally no idea what I am doing. Her online course is insane and she is a very tough grader. There is no room for error. I took this class online because I work and now I will have to take it again. So upsetting.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE!! Also, she gets you by saying that the class materials are free. The book is absolutely horrendous. It's filled with typos and errors that can make a HUGE difference when learning math. If you are NOT good with math, do NOT use this professor. Her answer keys are also terrible and wrong. Her class makes you hate math.

Took 1148 as a blended class with Luebben and it was very manageable. Be prepared to do a lot of homework as you are essentially self-teaching. Luebben was quick to respond to questions and provided great help. Do NOT go unprepared in to the quizzes, they make a bigger difference in you're grade then you'd think.

Pretty good professor and class isn't too bad. There is quite a bit of work. You have an online "lecture" and multiple quizzes to take each week. She doesn't give homework over the weekend other than to maybe study. There are 4 exams that don't have many questions but are worth a lot of points. Not too bad if you do all of the practice exercises.

Professor Lubben is awesome. She's very helpful and has a very clear grading criteria. At first it may seem like a lot of stuff thrown at you but you get used to it. You need to manage your time wisely if you take this class online. Quizzes aren't bad if you do the practice exercises and tests are very similar to the study guides. Recommend!

Excellent professor Extremely organized online course I did not use the online text book only studied from lectures lots of quizzes but they help to prepare you for exams which are easier than expected answered emails within one day recommended for anyone comfortable with online courses expect to work for an A

Online College Allegbra. Read the online lessons. Do the practice homework. Take a quiz on the lessons every other day. 4 exams and a final cumulative exam. As long as you stay focused and caught up in the class, you will do well on the exams. Professor responds to emails quickly and helps if you need it.

I would defiantly recommend taking a class by Professor Luebben if at all possible. The course work was clear and well organized and there were plenty of practice materials offered that were nearly identical to the tests. She is also very quick to respond to student emails and gives easy to understand explanations .

Mrs. Luebben was great. She responded fast to any questions. I dropped the class because it was too much for me online. I love math, but I just wasn't getting it for some reason. We have quizzes once a week, & yes they have due dates or pts are deducted, if late. She has lessons online & uses My Math Lab as another source of learning the material.

This is my fifth quarter at the CSCC. Enough time to see the difference between ways our teachers are conducting their classes. More than enough reasons to say that Ms. Luebben is simply the best. Extremely helpful. Her kindness is an extra bonus but it does make difference. Fantastic teacher!

Fantastic class. Ms. Luebben is by far my favorite teacher from the math dept thus far. Her lesson plans are clear, quizzes are direct, and study guides nearly mirror the exam. This class does require effort but is not hard, on top of that, I don't think I ever sent her an email that wasn't answered the same day. Definitely recommend!!

Great teacher!!! I took this class online, and she answered all of my questions almost immediately! If you read the learning units, and do even PART of the suggested homework, this class is not NEARLY as difficult as it appears! And she does everything she can to help you do your best! HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing teacher! She made an online math course extremely effective. She was quick to respond to every e-mail and gave amazingly clear, detailed and personal responses to any question asked. Highly recommended and should be the head of the math department.

Do not take this class online if you are not good with math. It wasn't really so much the instructor as it was the material. It was just hard, and the learning units provided weren't clear enough. Also it was frustrating to have to write out every piece of work even as displayed on the calculator. Do an X vs a * for multiply and you loose points.
