Comment:
I took this class online, and I'm thankful for that because he talks SO slowly, so I was able to watch the lectures at 2x speed. Other than that, I have few complaints. He's straightforward and thorough, he makes it very clear what he's going to test you on, and he's very responsive to questions and emails.

Ask questions! He responds very quickly and really wants his students to understand the material as well as to be successful. Study lecture notes. Pay attention in lecture. He gives hints to what will be on the exam.

Very Easy Class. Exams were not hard at all, he tells you what it is going to be on. Just make sure to cover everything detail about the topic in his notes and you will be fine.

Comment:
Dr. Behe, for all his pseudoscientific ideas, was a good professor for Physical Biochem. First half was near 100% a review of gen chem and physics I. Second half is all lab techniques (chromatography, spectroscopy, electrophoresis, etc.) Midterm, final, and regular presentations aren't bad at all. An A is very doable, with not much prep.

I found this professor to be extremely intelligent. The subject matter is not for the faint hearted or the drive bys. The course and the professor elevated my "studentness". I am a better person for having taken his course.I also found him to be very funny.

Bore galore! Wow, what a snooze. You definitely don't need the text and the exams are almost exactly what he provides from the examples exams with just a few slight rearrangements. Extremely responsive to questions via email with an impressive turn around time.

I found that this class was very informative on many issues. Behe is always helpful and gives everyone the chance to get an A. I would definitely recommend this class if you are a bio major and need a junior year writing intensive requirement

Easy, almost trivially so, with little to no intelectual rigour in the material. Very dull class and Prof. Take this if you are a fan of self-obssesed psuedoscience, otherwise steer clear.

Tests were hard though test were 40%, projects and participation were 60%. Is an extremely nice person, who is willing to help if you show a genuine interest( and go to off hrs). Lectures are very boring. Do not buy text, test come straight off bb notes
