SDSU should offer more classes like this, instead of the 2 - 3 hour evening classes. Move the material online or let students work at their own pace. If you are pressed for time, or need to speed up your progress...highly recommend.

Cant say too much about the prof since this course is really a work project you do on your own time.Good way to apply skills from MBA program to the workplace.Good communication from the prof and quick turnaround on grades.If you are good at working autonomously and dont like sitting in boring lectures, this is the class for you!

Really great Prof. A little tough and strict but very nice about it. He has high expectations, but if you are serious about the class you will do fine. He will help you tremendously if you talk to him. I strongly recommend him for the class.

Prof. Hergert explains what he wants really clearly. As long as you pay attention and follow his guidelines, you should get Credit for the class. He is very responsive and helpful, plus he lets you use your current job. Overall fairly easy class if you follow the guidelines he provides during the two semester meetings.

This class only has two class meetings a semester.. he lets u use your current job for the program or you can get an internship.. hes very helpful, always responds to emails right away. Really nice.. there's an 8 page final report due at the end.. as long as u try your best.. you'll get credit.. take him!!

2 class meetings only-seems to be a nice teacher. If you are not in an internship program, allows you to use your current job for your project. Will need to turn in 10-12page,single space final essay for credit. Easy class overall!

i would recommend dr. hergert for mgt 401 as well because he designed this course when he was dean of the college of business 10 years ago. this can seem overwhelming at first, but if you listen to him and read his sample report you realize this is something you can do with practically any job.

Professor Hergert is great!!! This class is lots of group work and you HAVE to read to do well on tests. If you want to do well on case studies you MUST be VERY SPECIFIC on recommendations and implementation! Otherwise you will NOT get an A.

dr. hergert is an extremely nice man, don't underestimate the difficulty of his tests but if you study hard you should be fine. he gives you lots of ways to make up low test scores on group projects, papers, and participation. let him know who you are!

Very smart, humble, helpful, he's such a good guy (no wonder he became a Dean). The class is not easy and a little boring, but what's important is that the professor cares about his students and is always available during office hours to help.
