He is a foreigner and can't speak English well. The lectures are nothing to learn or take note. He hates students who ask the question because he does not know how to answer it. The tests are very hard and give credit if you answer the whole question correct. Not an interesting class because his English is very bad.

Prof Behnezhad has no business teaching. He detests answering students' questions. He repeatedly patronized and condescended my classmates. Multiple classmates said they stopped asking questions out of fear that they would be belittled. Every student I spoke with from this class wished they had taken a different professor.

This professor is a terrible teacher. He means well, but has no further understanding of the material than the SI's do. His lectures are incredibly hard to understand, and he just reads the text (in VERY broken English I might add). If you take him be prepared to teach yourself. I got a B but would never take him again.

my first semester at csun was disaster when I took this class. After I transferred to other university because I realized csun is not good university for education. The csun professors are amateur and a lot of them are foreigners who cant speak English well. I don't know this university does not good professors? disaster, disaster .....

The problem with is professor is he does not like students asking questions. He his english is not the best so it becomes a problem when you have trouble understanding him but he gets extremely angry when you ask a question. The class its self is already a tough class and this professor does not make it any easier. Tests are not multiple choice.

He is not good professor for SOM 306 because he explains very easy, and he says everything is easy and easy but on exam is very hard. If you make one little bit mistake on the exam he marks whole answer mistake. He is not interested to help students .

SO HARD.. the aplia homework assignments are so difficult and way more work and detail than what you learn in class. He basically only lectures from a powerpoint so if you dont go to class, its okay because you can do the same thing at home by reading the powerpoint. Also foreign and hard to understand sometimes.

For the Gateway Lab, you never meet him, he just emails you info. As for the lab itself, the tests are pretty straightforward. Blaw n micro econ were pretty easy for most while Financial Accounting n Stats were a bit harder, but you only need to get %50 to pass. Study and take the tests early to avoid long lines and in case you need to retake any.

Summer class.2 profs for this class.He taught first half.He explains clearly.If you did biz calculus well then it's easy.I thought it was easy but somehow i only got A-.I put in very little effort though.didn't need the book,just listened to him, took notes,did HW.Make sure you DO HW!He's very nice.I can see how it's hard if STATS ain't your thing.

He seemed to get irritated when people asked questions. I wish I had not taken this class with him because I think he expected too much from a 100 level class. After the experience in this class, I have thought about changing my field of study. Would not recommend for SOM 120.

Great class presentations, and helpful to students who are doing well in his class. This is a serious class, and requires serious studying. The hardest class i've taken so far. His exams require 100% hand written stat calculations as solutions to real world problems. Most of the class failed or got a D-. Good Luck!

Very personable guy and there to help. Youll notice he has certain mannerisms that you may think are funny. This is a class that you must study for and all the material because on his tests some chapters carry more weight but he doesnt tell you which ones

His lectures made it seem easy, but the statistics were very hard for me to remember. I had to study chapters, do all homework plus review it all seriously for exams and final. He's a fine teacher, but the subject was hard...Great review for Gateway Stats Lab test. I think he's very personable, patient, and he cares about the students' success.

I took this course twice. The first time with Wedel. Wedel is tough! No textbook. Dr. Behnezhad is fair. His lectures are based on the course textbook. I can study on my own time using his ppt slides and text. He assigns homework via website, which counts towards your grade. This saved my butt. This guy kicks ass! Very fair. He saved me!
