Great professor. He really tries to make sure that everyone understands and if a lot of people get something wrong he redo or just gets rid of it. Overall great professor!

This is a tough class by design but having Dr. Jeannot as professor made it a little bit easier and fun. There are 3 exams plus a final. The labs are difficult, but there are clear instructions on how to do them and Dr. Jeannot always took the time in lab to answer any questions I had. I definitely would take him again for any chemistry class.

Dr. Jeannot is a fine teacher. His lectures are not super interesting so bring some coffee if you want to pay attention. There is quite a bit of Sapling homework; it is manageable, but make sure you don't forget about it! His tests aren't that hard if you do well on the homework.

Much of the lecture is boring but that's just the nature of Quant. He explains the topics well and makes sure everyone in the class understands them. The tests weren't anything surprising but were still difficult. I didn't use the course textbook much, but used the homework, slides and notebook to study. Never seen him get upset or angry.

Not going to sugarcoat it, this class is very tough. It is a lot of work and the tests are extremely difficult, but it is an upper level chemistry course. Basically general chemistry on steroids. His notes and clicker questions along with sapling help out a lot. If you are willing to do the work, hes a good professor to take for this class.

Dr. Jeannot is a good professor and a solid choice for Chem 210. You will work for your grade and daily work is extremely important, as well as showing up to class and listening to lectures. Definitely would recommend!

The class was very straight forward with clear grading criteria. Dr. Jeannot sets up every student to succeed and is readily available for students that need extra help. He uses clickers in class with many examples of questions similar to those on the test that are worked through together. I would definitely take again and recommend to others.

One of the best chem professors I've ever had! He's organized, helpful and very clear when he lectures. Go to class and participate. I highly recommend doing the online homework very early when he introduces the chapter. The exams are from lecture, homework, 'clicker quizzes' and he doesn't trick you on exams. If you genuinely try, you will do well

Dr. Jeannot is a friendly who knows what he's doing. He seems to like his job well enough, and it shows. The way he presents information is fairly easy to understand considering the difficulty of the material. The class itself is tough, the tests especially. Homework is graded fairly. Daily clicker questions make it so you need to show up everyday.

Awesome. We used clicker in class and he always stopped after each checkpoint to work example problems on the board. exam, simplified, but class average was really bad. At the end of the semester, he dropped the "lowest exam" score. In lab, he's easy going, unless you don't work hard to do your lab reports. Very helpful and understable instructor.

He is one of my favorite professors I've had in college. I enjoy the way he teaches and learn more than I thought I would from his lectures. He's very clear and the material makes sense when he teaches it. If you have a chance to take him, do it!

I tried to take this class last semester with Dvorak and did horribly. I had to drop it half way through. I'm retaking it this semester with Jeannot. We're about halfway in and I'm doing SO much better. He is so much clearer, very organized and seems like he really wants to help and have everyone do well. I would definitely reccommend him.

Daily quizzes on chapter material. Labs are informative. Lots of reading and re-reading textbook. Monotone an unenthusiastic lecture makes it hard to stay awake. Mostly short answer exams. Only has one way of explaining a process so if you don't get it the first time, see Dr. Dvorak

Great teacher! His tests are very easy as long as you keep with the homework and know how to do all the math for it. But the lab was thehard part of the class where i got A's on the tests i got D's on the labs. I still highly recomend him!

Dr. J really knows he material and you can get a good grade in his class but you need to try hard. His tests come from the powerpoints but reading the book helps a lot for them. Labs are tough but if you put the time into them they can also be done. Don't hesitate to ask him for help and you will do fine in the class. I would recommend him for 210
