He's far more interested in being the "cool and down to earth" professor than he is in actually teaching. He's mastered the textbook, unfortunately that is all he seemed to really have a mastery of. I was pretty let down by this class. If you have a serious interest in the subject matter find another professor, if you want an easy A, take him.

This course was totally discussion-based which is quite foreign in the typical college setting. You must read the books to be able to write your weekly papers and essays, but he is forgiving and works with your writing skill level! He is so intelligent and loves discussing differences in views to help us understand all sides. Take this class!!!

Creed is an awesome professor! This class consisted of so much reading and all essays. You have to read 5 books, weekly essays, 3 big essays and a final essay. It really was hard because people who aren't good at writing don't get a chance to be graded on what they are good at like exams. Some people are better in other areas of study. Hard class.

My main problem with this professor is he didn't post a single grade on blackboard the entire semester, and it was an online class. Besides that he is a nice guy who is always willing to help if you need it. The class is tough. If you know nothing of politics before hand... you may struggle a bit. Also, the online discussions bring out crazy people

Best class I have ever taken at LCCC. Learned so much from Professor Hyatt, very knowledgeably in his field. If you take this class, be ready to debate, (He loves it), and be ready to question everything. I do not recommend taking this class if you skip classes often because you will miss a ton!

No one ever regrets Creed's class. Great discussion, enjoyable readings, and enough percent of grade on simple stuff to boost a low GPA. If you can write essays you'll get an A. If you can't, he will teach you and you will by the end of the semester.

I took his Intro to Philosophy course, and it was a stimulating experience. He is a good teacher and doesn't ask much of you except that you participate in class discussions and demonstrate that you understand the material through his essays. There are three major essays in the semester and one opportunity to make up a grade. Take him!

Creed is awesome! Every class is an interesting discussion. I really looked forward to this class every day. However, if you're looking for an easy A, this is not the class for you. He challenges you a lot. He will always make you defend your position and build a stronger argument.

I freaking love Creed. He is such a nice person, flexible and understands students have lives/other priorities. He's also VERY intelligent and helpful. I would recommend taking any class/trip (he takes trips with the school frequently). I feel more intelligent of a person leaving his class. Good guy.

Extremely challenging class. If you do not have the extra time, you will be behind. Not to take away from his teaching because it's really good. But it is very challenging, especially without the face-to-face interaction. It's better to take it in person.

Intelligent. Seriously Mensa-like. which can be intimidating, but he counters that by being approachable and laid back. Values discussion. Writing intensive. I sense that he despises the quiet classroom. Also, you can talk to him about whatever. Seriously, I have demons and fear judgment, and he truly helped me. He's cool, you just have to give a

I took International Relation with this professor. I was not at all informed about anything international. I enjoyed the class and feel like I learned a great deal. I would defiantly take another class with him. He is always available to his students and his grading is fair and there are no surprises.

Excellent Professor, have taken 2 classes so far with him. He is very intelligent and dedicated which comes through in his lectures. His grading is not easy, you do have to work to do well. However he is always willing to help and is very approachable. Otherwise, very enjoyable class, and yes, if anyone wants to know - he is quite handsome.

Class grade is determined by essays (80%) and participation (20%). It was a fun class and I enjoyed going to but if you have bad writing skills I would take another teacher. He really doesn't preach or give opinions which is nice. More of a Socratic method class.

DO NOT take his 5 week course if you work full time. I loved his class and I learned A LOT he actually teaches History and does not require you to know the dates which is great! If you hate writting essays stay away, however if you want to learn take him, he's the one to take. Text book is a MUST!
