Weather you enjoy this class depends on what learning style you have. For me, it was very difficult to get into this class because of how mono-tone his voice is. Plus, I took his class early in the morning. His lectures made me want to fall asleep. I didn't feel as though I learned much.

Well if you want to see your grades on blackboard, do not take his class. He puts NOTHING on there. He only gave us 2 progress reports and I have no idea what I made on my final. He won't email me back on it either. Lectures are so boring but overall a pretty easy class. Bring a coloring book because its boring. He tries to be funny. like dad funny

He isn't very helpful. He is very forgetful and he has a tendency to change his mind a lot. I had him for Eng 111 and he wasn't bad at all but for Eng 112 its like he just doesn't care anymore. He is strict on grammar and the way he grades is awful. He does give you time to correct things to get a better grade. Class is easy if effort is put in.

This teacher seems to have really lost his touch in the classroom. I took his class being told he was a great teacher, however he sucked and did not care at all about my class' success, many of us almost failed. He is vague, gives test that only one with a photographic memory could pass,.

Mr Powell is a good instructor, but be prepared to work for your grade. This is college after all, so if you need your hand held the whole way, maybe you don't belong here. Took him for 111 and 113. I worked hard and got As, other students complained about work and got Cs. An excellent instructor, hes got a "dad" sense of humor though.

Had him for Am Lit 2. This turned out to be one my favorite classes, and I was not looking forward to it at all. Good teacher. You have to study for tests but he was helpful and clear. Also gave extra credit.

I had him for English 113 and for Humanities 160. He is a very quirky teacher, and if you can get by his weird tendencies, he's great. He grades easy on essays, and is very helpful. He does ramble sometimes, and he is given to interrupting. It really is a matter of personal preference if you like him or not. He can be annoying to some, but not bad.
