Funny guy, makes the class interesting. Be warned though, you HAVE to go class with him! I skipped a ridiculous amount and pulled off a B+, but I know it could have been an A if I had actually gone.

He's awesome and hilarious, I wanted to attend every class, I didn't, but I was def sad when I missed.He will make you laugh, sometimes hard to follow, but put in minimal effort and you will get an A. There is one assignment, I think he blindly gave A's to everyone

Torello was an okay teacher. I enjoyed his class, he definitely made it interesting and funny. He seemed a little bit scatter-brained, and sometimes he was hard to follow in lecture. But overall, I enjoyed his class.

Excellent Prof. Funny and Engaging- He always keeps class interesting. Only have to read selected sections of the book so 95% of the test material comes from lecture. No power point but he writes on the board. Go to class and take notes. Tests are very doable. There are 4 and the final is optional

Seriously the best professor I've had in my 4 years at OSU! I was dreading taking Neuroscience and he made it so interesting! No notes whatsoever, so you def. have to go to class and take good notes! He also gives a topic study guide for exams!

Has some great stories, is incredibly knowledgeable on the topic (you can tell he really loves it) and overall, a hilarious guy. Easy exams too (50 MC questions) but you still feel like you're learning. He's basically the best.

Best prof of the year in my opinion. He's hilarious (and my only motivation for going to his class) and knows the material inside and out. He has tons and tons of real life experience with almost all the subject material, so defiantly a knowledgable guy. I highly highly recommend taking ANY class with torello.

Extremely funny! Sometimes the only motivation for going to class was to hear a joke or two. Exams are fairly simple and he lets you know what will be on it. A con is that you will ONLY be graded on 4 exams.

This man is the funniest professor I have ever had! He's intelligent, and knows his material really well and can portray to his students in an interesting and fun way. He's not too hard, and he's not out to trick you in any way. I've never looked forward so much to a class. And this class was early! I LOVED IT

Prof. Torello is the most enthusiastic, helpful, funny teacher I've ever had and if you want to have an awesome quarter take one of his classes. The tests are easy if you go to class and take notes and he's always willing to go out of his way to help you. I've never laughed so hard in a class either. It's a riot and you learn a lot too!

Dr. Torello is a marvelous professor. I took two classes with him. His lectures are very entertaining to say the least. His tests, assignments, and grading are very fair. Dr. Torello was definitely an odd ball but he is definitely one of my favorite professors at Ohio State.

Doesn't stick to the cut-and-dry of neuroscience. I already found this topic very interesting, but it could be taught in a very boring way, which is exactly the opposite of how Torello teaches it.
