Professor Singelton is not very clear in his directions. His class is often boring and a waste of time. Although we do discuss the assigned readings and use the textbooks, the readings are boring and pointless. His papers are unfairly graded and meeting with him during office hours is often useless. I couldn't wait for his class to be done.

Dr. Singleton is very helpful- but a very demanding grader- though he grades you based on what he sees as your potential. His class was really helpful in helping me become a better writer. He is really funny and nice.

H110c.01- He was very kind and very understanding. He seemed to expect a lot from us freshman. The assignments are quite difficult but once they are done they are done. I disliked wriitng papers, but that is why I am not an english major. Overall he was a pretty effective teacher. I learned a lot of interesting things in his class. Recommend!!

Extremely kind-hearted, and a very good teacher: clear on expectations. Gave great feedback on essays, and actually tried to create discussion. If you have to take this class, take it with him, as he makes it almost painless.
