I took Music 130 with professor as a Gen Ed and lesson requirement, but Professor Thomas made the course enjoyable and informative. She is a very caring and helpful professor who genuinely wishes for all of her students to succeed in whatever endeavors they are pursuing. Definitely one of Connecticut College's best.

Midge is the best professor I've had at Conn so far. She is incredibly knowledgable, helpful, kind, and has a sense of humor. I wish I could take every class with her! But, if you don't really have any musical background, or don't read music, you might struggle with 131.

Professor Thomas is the best! She's SO nice and helpful and really wants you to do well. Take her classes, even if you haven't taken music before, it's worth it!

Professor Thomas is not only incredibly interesting, interested and cool, but she makes music theory fascinating and fun! I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was my favorite professor at Conn, and I had all her classes.

Sweetest professor. this was the class that i learned the most in so far. very smart, knows her stuff but don't try to bs her unless you're an expert like me. Her and professor krieger are the best professors on campus.

Class far to easy and full of boneheads. Ptofessor Thomas, however, is AMAZING. She has a way of immaculate explainations and is so positive. She also is always available for help/chatting/working on a project.
