Comment:

Pretty decent class overall. Adrienne is knowledgeable about the course and knows how to communicate the material fairly well. Even allows the use of a cheat sheet to assist during tests (they come in handy). Sense of humor is not for the feeble minded and could come off as offensive when it's not intended. Overall, great class. Highly recommend.

Comment:

For and entry level philosophy class, she is extremely hard. It doesn't matter to her if she has 4 A's or no A's in the class. If you have any other choice, my advice is to not take her class. If you decide to take her, make sure your papers do not have your opinion at all in them. She doesn't care about your opinions on the philosophers.

direct, honest, amazing sense of humor (contains a ton of sarcasm) if the joke is on you. I am def sorry. My advice, listen..do not speak unless you have valid reasons, not emotions, to support your opinion or you will be torn to shreds. However, she will make every bit of the difficult material evaporate like water.

As said before,her humour is not for the faint. She is very direct & to the point with her information,& her criticism. She is funny to me,harsh sarcasm. She is very smart & sparked a lot of interest for me in this subject.Wish there would have had more time with her to go over everything she wanted to cover in class. Poor text book choice though.

I really enjoyed this professor's classes. (I've taken 2.) You HAVE to pay attention every minute, otherwise you'll miss something. She knows her subject very well. Her humor is not for the immature, but she is FUNNY! Just follow her reasonable (I think) rules, do everything she says, and you'll get an A.

Condescending, pretentious, unhelpful. Insults students verbally, throws fits like a toddler (jumping up and down, screaming), muttering, passive aggressive swipes at students, easily frustrated, moody, short tempered, control freak, no flexibility with attendance. Half the class dropped. Have no idea how this prof got so many good reviews.

Funny, and a generally thoughtful, and intelligent person. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CELL PHONE TO BE SEEN OR HEARD! She will flip but it's hilarious. As long as you pay attention to her lecture and and do not disrupt class you will do well in the course. Otherwise, you will serve as comic relief. She will clown you. Do HW, practice, you will get an A.

She's a trip! You can't miss more than five classes or you fail, and you really dont want to miss class because you learn alot in each class. Adrienne makes the class entertaining with her stories and having class discussions and she makes sure you know the material before moving on. i strongly encourage anyone to take this professor,she's the best

Fantastic class! Great discussions. Really difficult assignments. I think Bioethics is a really hard course, but Adrienne made things clear. I'd recommend this to anyone, but they have to be willing to work hard.

I really liked her for logic, and thought she went out of her way to be clear and helpful. You can tell she really likes teaching Logic, and it was fun to make her laugh so hard that she cried. You KNOW only good teachers will let students do that to them!

She once said that I should reconsider going to college, came of as a bit pretentious and favors females. Adrienne has very little tolerance of people with religious beliefs. (I'm and atheist!) She offered no help outside of class.

I had Adrienne for Ethics and she was very exciting & excited. I'd leave class all pumped up about the things we talked about. Her rule was:Say anything you want, but be prepared to rationally defend what you say. That kept the big mouths quiet so the rest of us could talk & listen. Great class!

I had Adrienne in 1995 and I still remember her. She is an awesome professor. Her class is hard, but so is life! She is the best logic professor in the state. She said that 10 years ago, and I see she still says it now!

I LOVED this class. The material was tough at times, but was like a brain teaser. She says she is the best logic teacher in the state, she is. She made a hard subject matter easier. To pass this class you must show up EVERYDAY! If you fall behind it's over for you.
