Provides plenty of examples during class time. Homework is not mandatory - I never do homework until it comes time to study for a test. I'm not a great test taker, but just going over problems from the homework the day before the test is enough. Got B's in both his intermediate & college algebra classes. Would love to have his class again!

I have this teacher for intermediate algebra. He is so nice and is a great teacher. He does give partial credit on all his tests and does as many examples as possible. He never collects homework but it is your key to success for sure!! He is always willing answer any questions and is so helpful!!!

When I took this class he made up all the tests and the wuestions came from the homework but not they've changed the policy at PCC and the department makes the tests. He reads the examples out of the book which doesnt help me. I hated it. He didnt motivate me to do homework or to want to succeed. Dont take him.

He is a great teacher. You have to actually STUDY in order to pass. He does a great job explaining concepts with examples. I took his Trig. class over the summer for only 6 weeks and it wasn't hard to pass. You just have to put time into it.

Decent teacher. Many do poorly with him do to lack of motivation to study or practice problems. Welcome to the real world people. Has a very dry sense of humor - which I find amusing.

I like Malone as a person, but not as a teacher. He does not use class time efficiently. He'll spend half an hour on subjects loosely related to what we have to know and five minutes on tested material.

I had Malone for trig & there's no chance I'd ever take him again. I had no choice but to take it with him. If you have an option, don't take him. Dry personality, very grueling teaching style. He's a "either you get it or you don't" type of guy. If you are good at self-teaching, give him a shot.

Teaches VERY quickly. It can be very difficult to keep up. He tries to fit too much material into one semester. <b>Every</b> class goes at least two minutes after it's supposed to (and it starts on time).

Mr. Malone's class was a waste of my time. If I had problems with any of my homework I always went to the tutor. He had a way of making me feel stupid in class because I didn't get it. I would not recommend this teacher to anyone.

Passing rate for my Stats class was very low. I passed, but would not recommend this prof. If you must take his class, stick to the book or get help from tutors. His presentation of material makes it more confusing than actually is.

Prof Malone, although a nice guy, does not need to be teaching this class. He seemed as though he loathed being present during class and did not present the material in a clear manner. I believe he should stick to lower level math courses.
