take his class. no matter what. he makes it interesting, he is so funny and engaging. but don't take his class if you offend easily with swearing. he is bar none the the best teacher I ever had/have in college. He will be tough if you don't read the assinged readings, or do not participate in class.

LOVED this prof. he took a subject that i couldnt care less about,a dn made me supre interested. i never wanted to take english classes until i took a class with him. plus not too hard on the eyes, either!

What can I say? Mike is cool. How could you not love his sarcasm and wit?!? He knows his stuff (as well as a lot of others') and really is interesed in allowing you to learn. Even if you don't take a class with him, at least get to know him!
