I love professor lee! She is highly skilled and approachable. What I love is how she doesn't have a one size fits all system. She figures out how you learn and takes individual time with you. She makes sure you understand in a fun way. It May seem like She's hard on you but you'll thank her for her assertiveness. She's very kind and inspirational.

Comment:

There were students at various levels, so it was a juggling act, but she managed to give students individual attention. Would have been much better for all had there not been so many levels in one class. But I learned and developed piano skills in her class. Dr. Lee is inspiring and enjoyable to work with, an asset -- a real GEM!!

AMAZING! this class is challenging for beginners in piano but Monica makes it so funnot as daunting as it seems. Such a wonderful lady who really knows her stuff. Very approachable and kind. You really have to show up for all class sessions in order to keep up. and PRACTICE! It really does help. Don't put it off for last minute. XCELLENT PROF!

Comment:

Best piano teacher. I really enjoyed her class and would highly recommend it. You need to practice, do the lab hours and concert report and you'll be successful. I couldn't play piano when I started the class and was playing Beethoven by the end of the semester. Monica is a really great teacher.

My first experience with a piano was with Monica Lee. I am now playing advance pieces under her expert eyes. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge in piano and shares it freely with her students. She is able to identify the problems that students have in playing and helps them to overcome those problems. Great teacher.

Dr. Monica Lee is an amazing proffesor. Her class was a peice of cake. She helped me understand piano a lot better. She is a very easy A if you do the work and quizzes. She is an easy grade but expects you ti do the work. In the beginning the class may seem difficult but after the first few weeks, it is a piece of cake. I really recommend her.

Monica is very sweet and means well but things tend to get disorganized at times. The problem with this class (and all other piano classes here) is that there are both 1st semester piano students and 2nd-4th semester more advanced kids mixed into the class for the 135 BF.Going back and forth between us ate up time and we were rushed- she's cool tho

Mrs Lee is the best teacher ive ever had... it might just be because piano is the only thing i like studying! but she really is a good teacher, everyone should be required to take her class!!! i started off playing some stupid song now im learning the grande chopin etude no 1! take this class you will enjoy it immensly, seriously...TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!

Took her Spring 05. Really enjoyed her class.She is very nice and caring and very helpful. She really helps you improve your piano skills. A great and funny professor.Her midterm and final are all performance= she has you play one piece and then sight-read for both. 2 performance quizzes where you play a piece of your choice for the class.

She's Great! She does concentrate on teaching you so therefore you get a few more words and tips per meeting. Her class is easy and all she wants you to do is play how she taught you to play. You'll be playing music in no time!
