Comment:

He's a pretty funny guy but he's also the most relaxed professor I've ever had. He grades you on 3 tests (30% each) and assignments (10%). The lectures lead you into thinking it's an easy class but the tests have the hardest questions in the book. Make sure you understand all the questions inside and out and every test has a "trick."

He is very funny professor; however his teaching method is not efficient enough. His lectures notes and homework problems are very simple and exams problems are tricky. STILL he will give lots of credit in exam even though the answer is wrong. I think it's easy B or C class.

He is the worst I have ever encountered in this university. He is the most relaxed professor. Gives you a simple homework because he has not temper work, and surprise you with cool stuff on the exam. His teaching level is way lower than his exam.

He teaches ALL structure design classes. I took him for timber, concrete, & senior design. He's very practical. His lecture are very basic (out of the book). His tests are extremely in detail. His expectation is too high. He like to keep students busy (hw, project, etc). Higly experience & like to tell stories more than teach.

He is lazy, useless and shouldn't be a professor at college level. I had him for three classes: Concrete, Seismic and Timber. I know nothing about these classes. He doesn't teach anything and his first and second midterms are easy. Final is Hardcore. Easy B or C. No way for an A except if you have the final. NO GOOD...Go and retire...

5/31/06: Just finished this class. Homework is NOT related at all to any tests. Poor text with confusing examples. Always 5-15 min late & lets out 30-45 min early. Class examples are incomplete and offer little help in solving test problems. Class not worth the headaches or the $$$$.

Was knowledgeable. Told funny stories. Was very difficult to understand him because of Vietnameese accent, but was very nice. He actually tried to give away the answers before tests but was still unclear. Confusing class expectations.
