so much math that he expects you to just understand, plus takes a lot of points off tests just for one thing wrong, only saving grace is the grades are weighted so that a 58 is a c - and a 84 is an A

Very good professor. The class content is difficult, but he explains things thoroughly. Also gives labs that help develop understanding and are very cool. Very approachable outside of class. You can obviously tell that he cares about his students. Another professor maybe be easier, but I don't think you would regret taking Shad.

Excellent teacher. Very organized with notes. Test problems can be difficult but u can do them if u pay attention in class. Very interested in what he is teaching and enjoys teaching.. Great guy to talk to.. Overall great teacher..

I understand that some of my classmates liked him, but I got really nothing out of his class. I did end up with a B, but his teaching was kind of disorganized. He tends to make mistakes on the board when he draws out examples. And when you ask him a question, he'll just repeat what's in the book. You wonder if he understands the material.
