Love this teacher, made class fun. Partner homework and 1/2 of all tests, so get a good partner. Open book/note tests. Opportunity for extra credit. Only need the book for homework, one available in the library. Show homework to professor in lab, he will look at it and confirm it is good or not.

Extremely helpful professor. Class was interesting and Dr. Aly was always willing to explain any concept. All homework and half of the tests are partner work, though, so you better get a good partner! Very patient professor, explains concepts well, and tests are modeled like the homework. Very good class and great professor.

He is very helpful and you can tell he loves to teach. The homework can be unclear at times, or more difficult than the examples given in class, but he is willing to help you before classes or during labs. He is one of the main professors for my concentration, and I look forward to taking him again.

You have to show up and take notes.your hmwk is based on the examples he did in class.Get a good partner because you do hmwk and tests with them.I had a really good partner so it was a very easy class.And go up to the board for extra credit!!he gives you points even if it's wrong.he'll go over it on the board with you.

VERY difficult to understand - tests do notalways cover what he tells you to study. read the whole chapter, every word and study everything, regardless of what he syas. Based on my individual assignment grades I cannot tell how he arrived at my final class grade - grades your homework, does not give credit for attempts - instructions not clear

Pretty easy class. It's pretty boring, but he's a nice guy and seems to care. If you have questions he's got no problem helping you. I slacked off and didn't try very hard and got an A-, but he has a scale so I got an A. Awesome!

Great teacher, I took this class from another instructor and didn't learn a thing. Dr. Aly made the material so understandable, a third grader could understand.
