By far one of the best classes I have ever taken. Mr. Browne really takes his time to make sure the whole class understands. He gives clear instructions for assignments. If you need a foreign language credit, German with Mr. Browne is the best thing you can possibly take. Do the work for the class and you will get a great grade and learn Deutsch!

I took Mr. Browne's German 1 & 2 class and I loved it! He teaches pretty differently, so if you're used to textbook-structured classes, he might not be for you. He'll answer any question you have and you learn a lot about German culture, history, ect. I found him really funny- he tells awesome stories and plays guitar for you! Highly recommend him!

Amazing teacher. Goes on a lot of tangents and funny stories. He'll always help if you don't get it. Makes the textbook himself, weekly tests are just memorisation from the book, and for GER1121 from German videos. You HAVE to watch them if you want an A. Copy / memorise tests for an hour or two day before and day of. Look his music up on youtube.

His classes are mostly memorization of phrases. If you're quick to remember things, you can memorize the phrases and their translations in ten minutes and get an easy A for both of his classes with basically no study effort. If you already speak another language, it's even easier.

He was an amazing teacher. He provides you with a textbook that he wrote (which helps in the fact that the writer is teaching it), and he's always willing to stay after class to help tutor. He has weekly quizzes that are quite easy if you study. The midterm/exam are slightly difficult, but if you study they should be no problem. AWESOME TEACHER!!!

He is the best forieng language teacher there is. He is an American, so it's not one of those teachers that you can barley understand. His tests are really easy and come right out of the book (which he gives you for free). He gives tons of extra credit on every test. Tells you the final exam questions ahead of time.Makes sure no one gets behind.

Teacher keeps you on your toes. Mixs fun with the topic you are learning. Very knowledgeable of German and other languages. Wanna get a laugh and learn some good, wholesome German, take this class.
