Neil's class was perfect. That's how I would put it. Freshman writing at 8AM sounds awful, but Neil makes it something you're thankful you took. 3 papers that are each 30% of the grade but don't be scared, he just wants to read what you have to say. You basically have a month to write each. Take Neil if you want the best, relaxed (vibe-wise) class!

Neil is a homie. Try to get to know him. His class was fairly easy and it really taught me a lot about getting over my fear of writing and chronic procrastination. I ended up getting an A even though I feel like I put in the amount of effort that would yield a worse grade.

Neil's class was one of the most easy-going classes I had all freshman year. This class has very minimal reading and work. When we do read it is usually setting us up for an response assignment. The reading we have to do is 4 pages max. Then a response due next class. There are 3 project papers that are all opinionated. It is a very easy course.

A really good choice for a GWRTC teacher. He seems a little odd at first impression but he grades fairly, has interesting assignment topics, and doesn't make you buy a textbook. I would say I was lucky to get him as my teacher

Easy 8AM to knock out the gen-ed writing requirement. He can be a little chatty in his lectures, but he's really chill and cares that students do well. No office hours this semester, but he always responds to his e-mail in a timely manner. Definitely take this class if you want an easier writing course and can handle the early morning!

I loved him for GWRTC! An 8am GenEd writing class can be pretty dry a lot of the times, but he is always energetic. Do his little assigned readings because sometimes he'll quiz you. No final exam, just 3 big writing projects and little assignments. Fair grader and approachable. He's a really nice guy and I recommend him.

Neil was a great professor. Although its rough getting up his 8am, you are allowed 4 absences. He gives you plenty of notice of quizzes and is very helpful. If you follow directions you will at least get a B, highly recommend.

Neil is a really nice guy. Your projects are never too hard and he gives you ridiculous amounts of advance warning before any quiz. If you have this class at 8 AM drink some coffee, but he keeps it as interesting as he can and he's really funny. You will pass this course with a little bit of effort (very little).

He is very knowledgeable in the subject. There are no tests but there are some quizzes. There are 5 projects and you do have peer review before turning them in. I recommend him.

I had this class at 8am, and I still enjoyed it. Great teacher, no tests, will look over each of the 5 projects for you before they are do if you want him to. You dont have to overexert yourself to get an A, but there is some work included.

Really cool guy, class was very relaxing but sometimes a little boring when going over grammar. Harder grading on projects than you sometimes expect, but overall, a good class.
