If you can focus long enough during lecture to understand examples you'll be good for this class. Final was real tough I think the average was below a 50. I would recommend the SI It got me an A in the class.

Lectures are a marathon of examples which is only helpful if you understand the concepts. Teach yourself the concepts from the book before class! Exams were intense. Average on the 1st exam was a 59, with a high of 89. Bring your grade up by doing the homework and do well on quizzes. The final was hard but some people managed 100s.

Better bring your focus to class every day because class is a problem marathon! She spends little time teaching the concepts, charging through numerous examples instead. Examples, however, are the best way to learn dynamics. She seems a little impersonal but is very helpful in office hrs. Overall a good prof, just a mentally exhausting lecture!

She's a good lecturer even though she speaks very quickly - take notes. Shows an interest in material and in the students doing well. Don't miss lecture or you'll fall behind - even if it is just one. Go to the optional study groups - i wish i had.

She shows an actual interest in teaching. Class covers a lot of material in one semester and some of it is quite difficult, but she will help you if you ask questions or go to her office.

Very good at teaching. Best professor I've had yet at this school! Is very fast in lecture, however if you just take notes, it is extremely clear. She is very precise and accurate, and is very good at explaining things. Also she seems to enjoy teaching and wants her students to succeed! Highly recommended!

She's tough and moves very quickly in lecture, but she actually cares about teaching!! Actually ATTEMPT the homework problems. If you end up bombing the midterm, go in to talk to her. If you attend lecture and do well on quizzes, she'll cut a deal with you. Speaking of quizzes... don't underestimate them... they are worth 40% of your grade.

the class itself is very hard and she goes a little too quick thru examples, so make sure ur studying outside of class... sometimes I felt like she didnt explain things very thoroughly - but she has a lot of material to cover.. quizes are easier than exams, so dont underestimate anything.. much better than uicker, but she is kind of impatient

better than prof uicker would be. can be impatient, grades fairly. If you do the hw and understand it you'll do well on quizes and exam. Goes through examples pretty fast.
