Comment:

This was my second time taking Professor Kidd, he was a really cool guy. There's a clear grading criteria, gives you a chance to take over a map test you did bad on and he offers extra credit. 3 tests (test 1, midterm and final), a 12 page paper, couple map tests - Just study his powerpoints and you'll do well!

Comment:

Professor Kidd was a kind, funny professor. Three tests and 5+ map tests. Studying is critical to pass tests and map tests. Extra credit was offered a few times, which saved my grade because I am not a strong test taker.

I highly recommend Dr. Kidd! His class, Political Geography is so easy and there is no way that you would fail unless you really just don't care. The map tests are incredibly easy and he gives out a study guide each test but most importantly, the final is take home! There is one big paper and I highly suggest to not procrastinate on it.

Professor Kidd is a great teacher! His class was entertaining and I also learned a lot. The tests are easy if you use the study guide. He doesn't use the book so don't waste your money. Take this class if you're interested in geography and need the credits.

TAKE HIM. i have no interest in geography but he's so passionate about the subject that i enjoyed going to class. his notes are online so really just come to class to listen and write down the specific things he says he wants you to know. he gives you everything you need to be successful in his class. i would take him again!

Being I took professor Kidd online, I didn't get to know his personality. Again, being an online class YOU WILL READ from the power points to the "lecture" notes to the book. What he gives as a study guide is just that, a guide. Some material may not even be on the test. Study the maps and pick ONE essay question to focus on for the test.

Comment:

One ten page paper, three tests taken with proctorU, and a few dbs. This was the best online class I've taken, and I've taken a lot. The material was clearly outlined and he provided study guides for the tests. You have to actually know the material to do well on the tests, imo. Only complaint is proctorU is creepy.

Kidd is a great professor, tests are solid though and the study guides did not help me at all (but that could just be me, probably just is me) I wish I would have studied more because I'm sure I could have gotten an A. Definitely recommend, wish he taught all my classes.

He takes relatively boring topics and makes them quite interesting. The class is not hard if you study before the tests. I actually enjoyed showing up. You don't need to take much notes because the power points are online. You don't need the book. You are actually going to learn a good bit. I would recommend the class. Really good professor.

Best Professor ever! I love Kidd, he's such a cool professor. His class is not easy but if you go to the lectures and study you will be fine. He gives extra credits so take advantage of it. He is very laid back, and hilarious.

I have taken this professor both online and in class and I have to say I enjoy both his lecture styles. His grading criteria is clearly laid out, He posts his lectures on black board, and he gives a study guide before every test. He also offers extra credit if you need the grade boost. The only way you will fail is if you don't do anything.

His tests are HARD. The study guides really help but there are so many little details that make it difficult to remember it all. However, he does offer extra credit and you can tel he wants you to pass. I took him online and managed.

Super awesome teacher! Loved his classes. I took all my classes with him. One of my best professors. I would take his classes over again. Take notes pay attention to what he says extra credits are not in the books. If you miss class get the notes but it is your loss if you do not attend.

Not a bad professor, he's pretty nice but if you don't come to class the tests are extremely difficult. A LOT of map tests, but if you study they're easy. Make sure to take notes on what he says to because the test study guides are really hard to do if you don't.

Comment:

Good professor, gives weekly Map Tests that are incredibly easy if you study for them. Barely used the textbook-- the questions he uses for tests come from his powerpoints in his lectures. So although he doesn't take attendance, attending the class is basically necessary if you want to succeed.
