Hedderich is an amazing German professor. He's very passionate about teaching and it shows. He is also my language advisor and he's such a helpful guy. I would definitely have him as a professor again.

Norbert is an extremely organized, friendly guy. He is very structured and returns assignments quickly. He invests his time in the class and expects you to do the same. If you keep up with the work and put forth a good effort you'll be fine. German is one of my majors and he's my favorite German professor.

Norbert is by far one of the best professors at URI. His teaching philosophy is incredible. Extremely helpful! If you put in the effort you will do fine. Very understanding and considerate professor. Helped me fall in love with the German language. He can be somewhat dry but helps students learn a lot. If you can, take a course with Norbert!

I was excited about learning german and he made it all worth while. He is probably the BEST professor I have had so far at URI and I love his teaching methods. He is lenient about late homework and will work with you if you dont understand something. I LOVE NORBERT HEDDERICH! He is so cute!

I LOVE NORB! He is a GREAT professor. He wakes up the class and makes the grammar understandable. He is funny, has a totally convincing rhode island accent when he speaks english, and a badass one when he speaks German. I learned so much compared to my other German classes elsewhere. Totally flexible, predictable and reasonable HW load. Dorky-chic!
