Great Professor. Good lectures that incorporate philosophical ideas to real life. Can be intimidating. Tips: 1) You MUST pay attention 2) You MUST bring your books. You will be called out on it. 3) Do the homework Grading is based on three things: The Term Paper, The Midterm, and the Final. The exams are take home and easy.

He's smart and he can be intimidating, but if you take notes and pay attention to his class you'll understand what he is talking about. If you don't read or he sees you slacking in his class he'll pick on you and embarrass you in front of the whole class. Overall, get ready to read a lot and put in a lot a lot of work to at least get a B.

I dreaded coming to his class everyday. He's probably the scariest professor i've ever come across...BUT he's extremely intelligent! no one has ever taught me more than he did. He challenged my mind and expanded my thoughts beyond belief. I'm so grateful to have had him as my professor. The class isn't easy, but it's worth it in the long run.

He was a difficult but great teacher I learned ALOT I didn't want to take this class but im glad i did. He will put you on the spot so don't be a smart ass. Keep good attendance and read his texts and you will be fine. And if you are broke dont take this class requires 4 books and they are kinda expensive

He is so hard. If you want to rip your hair out this is the class to take. He picks on you constantly and asks weird questions that can't be answered. I received an A but I literally read all the four books and his take home tests aren't easy you need to be so accurate and detailed. The project took me over a week to do because it was so confusing.

One of the brightest minds I've ever encountered. Yes, he is rude and offensive. But his class is worth taking, regardless of the fact. The only reason I didn't receive an A was my own laziness. Everything is straightforward and his take at home tests are incredibly easy. My only warning is to steer clear if you don't love philosophy.

omg.. he is not easy at all, he is a hard man to deal with. not easy to get an A, you need to make sure that you write every word that he is saying! yells and pick on people without knowing that it can be offensive.. I don't recommending him to any one!

whats great about this class is that you don't have to memorize anything. 2 take at home exams/finals and 1 midterm paper. take good notes, do the readings and ull do well. really smart professor, loved every moment of this class

Prof Mohl is definitely intimiadating. As long as you go to class and take notes of what he says you will understand. He dislikes students that slack off and will embarass you if you do. But he is very knowledgable and intelligent. Two take home exams and a paper, all coming from his notes and the books.

if your looking to pass take him. if your looking for an A try and avoid him. he is a brilliant professor and extremely smart and when you talk to him out of class he is a nice guy but in class he can be a hard ass. take home midterm and final but the questions were still pretty hard

Very brilliant professor. Very smart and easy to pass. If u have your textbooks with you he won't pick on you. Have to have them. Do his HW and his two tests are take home tests. Even the final is a take home final. Extremely recommended because he's easy and knows what he is talking about in philosophy. Take notes as well. But easy class overall.

this professor is very great! this is not a hard class. if you come to class on time have your book out and understand whats going on the class will be much easier for you. his handwriting is not neat so taking down notes might be a problem. i passed his class with an a minus best teacher ever.

VERY STRICT!! Great and BRILLIANT teacher. However do not come to his class to slack or sleep. He will rip you a new one in a heart beat and you better have your text book(s) or else he's coming for you and WILL embarrass you! Overall a great mind and a great professor.

If you are lazy, unwilling to follow clear instruction, or are easily intimidated by people, drop the class. If not, get to class everyday with your book, and take notes of all the key points of the reading. Very simple. He uses the socratic method,i.e often questions people about what they know. Do not fear, hes a GREAT/intelligent PROFESSOR!!!

Prof. Mohl does not tolerate nonsense. Does not tolerate slackers. Never, ever show up to class without your book(s)--you WILL be embarrassed. He IS quite intimidating, but honestly, he just wants you to LEARN. The class isn't all that hard, either. Just do the assignments on time, and write down everything he says. I really learned a lot.
