Comment:

Professor Miner is a great lecturer. If youre not doing so great in her exams she does give students a chance to earn extra credit. However, her extra credits are only good for one or two extra points. She has her moments when she will snap at you for asking her a question. Other than that, shes a very good professor.

She's the best! She gives so many extra credits to help. Your final grade is the average of the 3 exams you take. And they are so easy. Read the power points, you don't need the textbook.

She is a very nice lady. You do not need to get the textbook for this class. She gives 3 exams and has a review sheet for each exam. She gives a lot of extra credit and no home work. She teaches off powerpoints and gives them to her students. Her test are easy if you study the review sheets.

She has a cute personality, and is very approachable. What I love about the way she teaches is that she breaks down the vocabularies which helps students A LOT. Tests aren't hard if you study your notes thoroughly.

She makes Power Points and Exam Review Sheets. Her syllabus is crystal clear. You DO NOT need the textbook. Don't get it. I wasted 132 on mine... never opened it and got an A+, 98 on every exam. Plus, you get extra credit! This semester she gave up to 15 extra credit points. There are 3 exams. Final grade=[(sum of 3 exams)+(ExtraCredit)]/3

Great professor. Her tests are really easy if u study the powerpoints on blackboard. She teaches interesting topics on nutrition. She can be boring at times. But other than that nothing really bad. She does scare ppl on test days. She says that if u look around even at ur wrist then then she'll confiscate ur test paper. She gives extra credit :)

She is a very nice woman, however the class section that i'm in is almost 4 hours long and the class gets extremely boring because she goes through the powerpoint very slowly to take up the time. Besides the boring factor, i would still recommend taking her

General Nutrition. Very interesting class. I walked away with valuable nutrition lessons that I have incorporated into my life. She explains everything wonderfully and gives a lot of extra credit. I took this with the freshman year initiative along with english. One of my favorite classes so far.

she teaches right from the powerpoint. u can download it on blackboard. do NOT buy the book. shes a pretty chill teacher but she gives TONS of extra credit. only reason i go. attendance not mandatory. 3 exams.

Easy A if you get this teacher. Dont even bother listening to her lectures. She doesn't know what she is talking about. Just study the powerpoints. ;-) (Is she a qualified professor?? Professor Kant is harder but at least you learn)

The professor is easy going.She knows her topic well. She post her lessons online and you don't really need to attend the class. Read the chapters and use her notes from online. Her tests aren't easy though. You have to read the chapters. One good thing is that her final isn't cumulatiave.
