Such an amazing professor, take with a friend, easy powerpoints and fun interesting videos. Easy A if you study hard for the midterm and final. Lots of definitions. Overall Tormey was one of my favorite professors I've had so far. Take him!!!!

Comment:

Professor Tormey is so sweet, he has a very dry humor, but it's cute. Definitely take this class with someone you know, he shows a lot of videos, so if you miss a day you'll need someone to tell you what you watched. That's basically the class, he goes over three-five slides and then you watch videos for the rest of class. Easy af

I took him for an online summer class and although I never met him his comments were the sweetest and he was a VERY fast grader. I got an A and actually learned a lot even though the assignments were very high school level. I finished the entire course in 2 days because it was that easy it was not stressful and I got 100 on nearly everything.

This class is a requirement for we mktg majors and I really learned a lot and enjoyed the class too. Tormey is a decent guy and really knows his stuff and has been around awhile too.

took him for marketing! amazing teacher, go to class he lets you out early and shows videos almost every class. he respects you as a student if you respect him. tests are based off terms and videos. very easy takes minimal effort. studied night before midterm and got an 84

TAKE THIS CLASS! but take with a friend!! you only have a few projects (super easy, like 20 min of work) that are basically auto-A's and you never do anything else. he gets most are seniors so you just watch cool videos and always get out early! def take to get in the easy credits

Tormey is a truly outstanding professor and he really gets this subject. He plays videos each class and they always relate to the chapter being discussed. His term project report makes you really think about the marketing firm and gets you to work with several classmates. Great class and a great prof.

As a foreign student I was a little worried about this class but I really loved every minute of it. Professor Tormey is an outstanding teacher and he really cares if you learn about fashion marketing.

If you do the projects according to the outline you will get an automatic A I promise. I would 1000% take this class. My only complaint/advice is that when he gives you the midterm/final outline look at other powerpoint notes because he'll put other questions on there. For the midterm I just looked at the power points and got a 93%.

He's the best! Such a cute older gentleman and tells jokes all the time. Powerpoints and videos each class. Couple of presentations and a group project. Do the work on time and your set. He gives an outline for what he wants in each presentation.

Prof Tormey was my instructor for my MBA marketing elective, MKT994. This was by far the MOST useful class that I have taken to date. I learned so much that I now regret that I majored in finance...he made me LOVE marketing so much. By far the best teacher in our entire grad school. Take him if you can, you won't regret that you did.

Took him for Marketing. I was thinking of majoring in Finance but his class was so great-I decided to choose Marketing. He plays interesting films (none are boring) He uses the book to teach so I learned a lot. His exams are challenging but fair. A great guy, who really cares about you and your career.
