Overall, very good class. Yes, lots of reading, in fact we read the whole text book. Fair amount of homework, reinforced the reading. Tests and a group project to boot The best thing. I learned about PM! It humors me to hear people complain about too much reading, too much homework, etc. Obtaining knowledge requires these activities. Thanks Paul!

While I'd like to talk about how boring the class is and how unhelpful he is, there is something far more important. The workload. Throughout the semester you have a quiz, homework, and discussion do every week. When you get to the last few weeks you realize that there are 39 long assignments that you have to do for the final. 11/10 hardest class.

Not a fan of the teaching style employed. A lengthy pedantic syllabus that must be adhered to in even the most trivial matters. He will not accept an email unless the subject line is formatted a certain way. Expected students in an online class to meet on campus anyway. Classes were long and not engaging. Unrealistic expectations.

Crigler is a good man, but the majority of his lectures will leave you snoozing. He can be funny at times and is a very down to earth professor. The class is a classic Crigler class, quizzes and homework he knows nothing about due every weekend and a big project due at the end. Hint: start on the project early, he won't really set aside time for it

I learned more from this course than the past seven years of university. It was engaging, realistic, and applicable. The group project was humbling and provided more experience than just education. Listen to what he says. If he repeats something, he did it on purpose. Just listen.

Paul is a good guy and he means the best. He is not the greatest teacher but his heart is in the right place. He reminds me of a crazy, but lovable, uncle. His quizzes are beast mode though. Only problem is that the programming side percent for grading is very low.

I've taken him online, in class, on every IS course imaginable. Some love him, others don't, but I think he's a good teacher. He may be a little older than some teachers but he still knows his stuff. His lectures sometimes wander, but they're helpful and wise. Intimidating at first, he's always eager to help and extremely friendly.

His lectures are boring, but he knows his stuff and he's always willing to help outside of class. I highly recommend taking advantage of his office hours! He's willing to work with you when you're having issues and he seems to really want his students to do well.

This guy as a professor is a waste. I feel like my money was wasted. They should have just told me to buy the book. He was negatively helpful, and extremely unclear in his expectations for this course. I would not suggest taking one of his classes to anyone.

Seriously, this guy can be really nice, but I get the sense that he's seriously passive aggressive. That said, he's a worthless teacher. He doesn't teach in class. Loads of guest speakers. He doesn't know how to lead a class discussion, and he doesn't even write his own tests. My final proof that the tenure system is flawed beyond repair.

This guy is a very nice man who genuinely cares about his students. We had guest speakers the ENTIRE semester, so I'm not sure about his lectures, but do not take this class in the summer thinking you will get the condensed version. We had 2exams and 2group projects due in a 30day period. Very exhausting class, thankfully he is a lenient grader.

Crigler definitely knows his way around the IS world. His tests are extremely easy, but his lectures will make you want to jump out of the window because they are so boring. He doesn't explain things well sometimes, so it's best to meet with him outside of class. He is always willing to help his students.

He really cares about his students, but does not directly teach how to complete the assignments. He is available outside of class time to fill in the gaps, but I personally prefer getting the info I need in class. Much better as a programming instructor than as a systems teacher.

This is a sink or swim class. He doesn't teach you how to do anything! He expects you to know it already, which causes major stress. He's willing to meet with you and help you through it though. Know the book for tests and talk/work with other classmates for homework/project.
