all bio classes are hard, doesn't matter who teaches it. if you don't read, you will not pass. dr. bliss tries to make it fun in class though, but his jokes are aweful. just watch out for the labs. the labs have much harder material than the lectures. his exams are pretty straigh forward, and everything on the exams he teaches you...no surprises.

honestly everyone says that he is a hard teacher but really he isnt. yeah the homework is hard but it really helps you learn. and the labs are long only beacuse you have them once a week. but he really is a good teacher and helpful. i would recommend him. just do your hw and study the study guide

Awful teacher. Boring lectures, unhelpful. Use Study Guide only to study for lecture exams. Good luck on lab exams... really challenging. Turn in all weekly homeworks and complete lab manual. Study hard for disease test, especially symptoms and etiological agent. Labs are fun.

Class was hard, he made it fun and wanted to learn, lecture was dry, but informative & he makes the best syllabus out of any instructor i'v ever had, never had to read the book everything you needed to know was there! Easy going, great sense of humor... love the stories about his grandmother! Almost makes me want to take the glass again just for the lab.
