Comment:

Paul is funny, smart, and very engaging. He is excited about Family of Origin and it shows in the way he lectures. I'd agree very much w other posters: he tends to either be a favorite or rub people the wrong way. I like his organization,his feedback, and his ability to listen to many different student stories. He is gifted and fun.

I liked Paul a lot & learned a tremendous amount - but not everyone in my class did - very split. He is not exactly warm & fuzzy, but knows his stuff inside & out. I felt he really cared. Great teacher.

He clearly knows his stuff and is engaging. My issue is that he seems to pick favorites, or more accurately he seems to pick people he doesn't like for some reason and I'm telling you - if you are that person he will barely acknowledge you. I love the class but I feel he needs to address his biases to make a better classroom experience for all.

Paul is one of the most genuine, most thoughtful professors that I have ever had. He is challanging and I think some people take that personally and can't handle his honesty.
