Professor Assenza truly cares about not only the grade you recieve but the knowlegde you learn. She wants you to be the best entrepreneur that you could be! I am forever appreciative of this professor! She is always willing to help and mentor.

Out of all the professors I have had at Western Assenza is by far the best. She actually cares about her students and wants them to learn about the topics and not just regurgitate the information for a grade. Some of her assignments are time consuming but you'll learn more in her classes than you will in most others

This was my second class with Dr. Assenza. Heralded by my peers as one of the most laborious courses in the program, the course was engaging and fast-paced. Dr. Assenza covered an incredible amount of ground, providing her signature lectures and offering plenty of face time with students to help shape their success in the class.

Dr. Assenza really challenges her students to dig beneath the surface of subject matter and encourages everyone to participate in the class discussions. This environment gives the course content a real pulse. Students who consistently participate stand to reap the most reward, though their contributions benefit all.

Dr Assenza is an awesome professor to have! I had her for both managing people & small bus entre. The feedback is real. Not a lot of homework, but effort is required. She's also sarcastic and it makes class more enjoyable! Her lectures are full of information from her personal experience and from the curriculum, so it's the best of both worlds!

She actually cares about what you learn. SHE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR WELL-BEING. This professor is a must-take in order to help you survive in the real world. I had her for two classes and the style she teaches is like no other. Instead of crappy papers and exams, she makes you think critically and outside the box.

Dr. Assenza's class was one of the most memorable learning experience throughout my time at WCSU. Students really get a feel for the difficulty of starting up business, but are taught that it is possible with hard work and determination. The class is challenging but one of the most rewarding at Ancell School of Business!

Professor Assenza has been one of my favorites instructors so far. Her excellence in teaching encourages me to move forward in my career and my personal life. I think she specific, detailed on her feedback in all my assignments. She is a great teacher to work with and an excellent motivator in class. I will strongly recommend her as a professor.

Dr. Assenza is such an amazing professor! She is quite eclectic and makes class really interesting. Both inside and outside of class, she is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Even after I graduated, she helped me plan a management training for my job. She is definitely one of the good ones at WCSU!

Professor Assenza is an amazing professor! She has a wealth of knowledge that she genuinely enjoys passing on to her students. She goes above and beyond to provide her students with additional resources on blackboard to help drive home topics from the lecture. I highly recommend taking her for both MGT 376 & MGT 405

Great professor, took her for two management subjects. Is very clear with what she looks for and everything is all included in her module on blackboard. Is a great help if you have questions or need extra clarity. I would take her again if i needed too. Will actually learn a lot does not go by boring powerpoint. But get ready to work in groups.

This class is A LOT of work. In a group you will compile a mini business plan with a feasibility analysis, mkting and financial plan then present. You will learn so much especially if you plan on opening your own business. You get to pick what your business will be that you want to research on. 5 quizzes&4 group cases. Highly recommended professor!

A fun and interesting class. She is knowledgeable about the subject. Lectures with slides on blackboard. There is a group project/presentation. The tests are not hard if you read the slides and glance over the book. She provides a lot of extra information on blackboard that you have to sift through. Very passionate about teaching.

Comment:

Prof. Assenza is upfront from the begining on what's required from class. Her deliveries and discussions are clear and relate to real life situations and experiences. It's alot of work but very rewarding. I learned and will take with me alot regarding HR Mgmt. Her class came highly recommended and I'm glad I attended! Realize your dream Professor!
