Professor really tries to expose students to a wide variety of business ethics topics and materials (textbook, videos, articles, cases). Class is very demanding in terms of the workload with frequent DB participation required but the material is very interesting. She also gives individual feedback on each assignment.

She is very detailed! Her syllabus was 30 pages. 5-6 Discussion boards every week! and you have to continuously respond to classmates. I think she requires too much for a short class. Definitely not taking her again!

She's very thorough. The class requires a lot of time. She lays out the detail syllabus and if you follow it, you should be fine. There is a lot of discussion topics that she requires the class to comment. The quizzes and mid term test have very specific questions so you have to study the book very well.

She is very straight forward. She states the guidelines and there are no surprises in the class. The material is not difficult and she is very helpful. Everything is straight from the book. The discussions can be quite amusing sometimes but don't disagree with her! She is very smart lady but sometimes gets caught up on random subjects. Overall an A

This is my 1st class that we actually read an entire 600+ page textbook in addition to numerous other readings and videos. The tests are very difficult, 100 questions in 2.15 hours, with sometimes tricky wording that you would only know if you had memorized the text. An "A" is definitely attainable, but be prepared to dedicate a ton of time.

I have taken her for two courses, and made a B both times. Her class is a LOT of work, but she makes that clear from DAY ONE. The work is not hard, just time consuming and thought provoking. I will continue to take cases from her because I love a challenge. This is how graduate work should be.

Final and Mid term- open book and Strait from the book but you dont have enough time to finish. Outside readings are really not that necassary as long as u can **** during in-class discussions. Case study questions are pretty dificult but you have plenty of time to do them

I took this class online. Dr. Cloninger is a tough instructor. There is LOTS of reading, from the book and from several outside sources (such as videos online, Businessweek, etc). Quizzes from every chapter, midterm had essays but final didn't (100m/c)Not enough time to complete exams, have to complete case study, DB is alot of work, essay type

She is a very unreasonable professor whom you don't know whether you should or should not follow the requirements. I made a big mistake when I chose her class. She is very mean. UHV is a very fine school without any professor just like this. MUST avoid this teacher in the future!!!

Professor has limited understanding of logic and argument, takes discussions out of context, places personal biases in grading practices, believes that "Professionalism" involves agreeing with her opinion, and seems to have an appreciable deficiency of critical thinking capacity. If you want an A, stroke her ego and pretend she is knows something.

This professor has gotten a bad rap. Do the readings, participate in the discussions, and read the chapters for the test and the you should do well in the class. Participation is a huge part of the class so any time you have the chance to speak, speak. Don't be shy.
