I love Dr. Danner! He is great at explaining things clearly and you can always stop and ask questions if something doesn't make sense. It can be hard to make a good grade in his class because there aren't very many tests/quizzes. He genuinely cares about his students and is always willing to help.

Comment:

Great harmony teacher. Very smart. He's also a composer so he can answer all those "But what if such and such happens?" type questions. He also gives you a chance to defend your analyses in many cases and encourages you to be creative. Very fun.

I completely disagree with these comments. Dr. Danner taught Piano, Theory, AT, etc. and did a GREAT job! He genuinely cares for all students and if you don't get something out of his class, you're not paying attention!

..Kind of boring.. I really almost sleep in this class out of boredom. Im pretty good at AT but good lord It doesnt have to be so boring!!

Dr. Danner is incredibly smart, but he can't really teach all that well. He is a very boring man teaching a very boring subject (form & analysis).
